Jacob Misiorowski's final 2026 numbers: 174.2 IP, 1.80 ERA, 2.17 FIP, 252 K, 44 BB, 31.3 K-BB%, .802 WHIP. The third-lowest WHIP by any qualified starter (excl. 2020) in MLB history, trailing only 1913 Walter Johnson and 2000 Martínez. One of the best pitching seasons ever.

Statement on the MPS Transformation plans made public last week
Black text on a white background, reading:
“Over the past week, I have spoken with a number of constituents who have expressed great concerns about the plans Minneapolis Public Schools announced to potentially close several schools around the city.

There have been questions about how this would impact park programming and before/after school care through Rec Plus. As we await further information from MPS about these impacts, it has become clear that the community has not felt heard or supported in the communication of these potentially seismic transformation plans.

As a Minneapolis resident and as a fellow elected, I urge the Directors of the MPS School Board to delay a vote on these plans until the community at large has been engaged and understands the potential impacts on their families, friends, and neighborhoods. If the vote cannot be delayed, I urge them to vote against these massive changes- this can be discussed again in the future, but closing the schools will have immediate consequences for the affected communities.

I appreciate the constraints and challenges they’re facing. Delaying this vote and helping community partners understand the way this will impact our joint efforts will be a net positive. I look forward to working with them going forward to see how MPRB and MPS can work together to serve our communities.”

Creating time for innovation is a result of success and privilege. Having time to create, innovate, and ideate, means an employee isn’t so overloaded with work. How many low and mid-level employees can relate to that?

This assumes that an employee is able to identify a friction point, and then evaluate places that don’t require human interaction to increase efficiency.

Asking employees to find a friction point in their workday, then figure out how AI can help with that… #nss26

If the question posed is, how does MN play its part in this AI boom, I’m impressed to hear Christophe Beck talk about possible opportunities, and not leave sustainable development on the side.

Hearing a CEO of a major global corp NOT talk about their business as the main subject is honestly refreshing. (Feels more like a pitch for a high office speech on MN economic growth)

Wish that Christina Hennington (Minnesota United FC) would have made a bigger point that Allianz Field was fully privately funded. It can be done.

Transitioning the conversation to the optimism of the AI evolution/ shift reveals split opinions. We’ve got political caution and equality, educational practicality and neutrality, and medical/ business benefits of usage and improvement.

Listening to leaders speak on AI evolution and usage within industry, the message seems to be necessity via efficiency. But there’s little discussion on risk, cost, and impact outside the narrow focus of industry. #nss26
