I've been attempting unseeded high score (naneinf) runs on #balatro. Today, I had a perfect start (Ante 1 Perkeo + later Baron/Mime). I felt unstoppable. But then I saw The Plant. I'd bet there was an earlier Luchador that could have saved the run. The seed is 7I9MJF5P if you'd like it try it!

A screenshot of the game Balatro. In it, there is a Soul card (which creates a legendary joker) found by skipping the first blind in Ante 1.

I haven't been on here much recently. My dog is limiting my screen time. I do what she says, of course. After all, she wears the pants in our household #dogsofbluesky

Ah, Colby. Thank you for championing two of my favorite things: Optimizing characters and optimizing Excel spreadsheets (that none of my family or friends care about)

#DM tip of the day! Include your players more when session planning! The purpose of the DM is to tell the story the players want to be a part of. Take their thoughts & ideas into account, ask them questions related to what you're planning, w/out giving away the details! #d&d #ttrpg #dungeonmaster

A few minutes ago, our foster dog hopped on the couch and leaned on me. I started singing "Lean on Me" to her. After a few seconds, she got up and moved away from me. I guess she didn't like my singing! #dogsofbluesky

I've played about 5 hours of Sea of Stars with @nnpereira.bsky.social. The characters and Chrono Trigger vibes are wonderful! #rpg

I've created another monster! (It's also really stupid) Here's the stat block for the "Thost" (pronounced like "toast"). This spectral loaf of bread has risen (heh) from the bread to haunt your next game of D&D! If you want the text, look in the following post or alt text for the link! #dnd #5e

I was scrolling through my Seek app, which tries to identify species based on photos. Here's my photo of a "domestic dog" (taken from a Nat Geo YouTube thumbnail) Now I'm getting ideas for a new D&D monster: The Really Big "Dog" #biodiversity #dnd

A screenshot of a phone app called Seek. This app (tries to) identify an organism's species based on a photo. The app has misidentified a photo of a lion as a domestic dog.

I've created a monster! (It's really stupid, though) Here's the stat block for the "Spelling Bees". They're bees ... that can cast spells. Feel free to use it in your next D&D session! If you need the text-based version, you can find it at this Google Doc: docs.google.com/document/d/1... #dnd #5e

You love to see it when your TTRPG players use a limited resource to help an NPC in need. You doubly love to see it when the GM rewards that generosity! Awesome game story, @wobblerocket.bsky.social! #ttrpg #dnd

#TTRPG #GMTip and #PlayerTip Listen to other players' turns in and out of combat. It's SO BELITTLING to your fellow players when you only value the stuff that YOU do at the table. Every game is an ensemble cast sharing spotlight. I promise, if you ignore other players, they WILL resent you.

Hearing a friend say they get excited by how excited I get about my D&D character/OC makes me really overjoyed. I’m always afraid I’m annoying about it. This happened earlier today and I’m still fucking hyped.

Let's try this but with D&D characters! For every like, I'll share an unorthodox D&D character I've brewed up. (Can you tell I'm the forever GM?) #ttrpg #dnd

What I find fascinating about the #TTRPG Community is how people's backgrounds, upbringing, and day jobs inform the types of things they like to do in the space, and the specific lens through what they create.
