"Isn't it humiliating to be unable to answer this question?" This exchange between Sen. Ossoff and Trump nominee Jay Clayton—about who won the 2020 election—is well worth watching.

Feeling overwhelmed with all of this. LISTEN. Another Louisiana resident (Marshawn is the only name we have) testifies against the state’s racial gerrymander, speaking truth to power up and down the hearing room and predicts how this story will end. Speak your truth, fight and believe.

In 1961, Stephen Bailey of the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Local Union noticed a plumber’s white overalls had bright green stains all over it. The following year, the Plumbers Local Union decided to use that dye in the river to turn it green for St. Patrick’s Day.

I voted YES on Prop 50 because we cannot let anyone silence the will of the people. California is fighting fire with fire and standing up for democracy everywhere. Vote yes on Prop 50 by mail or in person on Election Day, this Tuesday, November 4.

California – this Election Day, vote yes on Prop 50. California’s Prop 50 says that if Republicans are going to abuse the system to try and hang onto power, we’re going to counteract that abuse and create a level playing field in the midterm elections. Make a plan to vote yes on Prop 50.

Pete Hesgeth — who wants to rename the Navy ship that honors Medgar Evers, a WWII veteran who landed on Omaha Beach — is using that same beach for a photo op in which he promises we will “never forget” the veterans there. What an unbelievable asshole.

#photography #andrekertesz Andre Kertesz’s photographs have a distinctly elegant sensibility. His lifelong dedication to expressive photography is reflected in his immense and varied body of work. The right side of frame is a simple composition of clouds over water with a rail in foreground. This is a sepia toned black and white photograph made by Andre Kertesz in Paris in 1926. It shows the pipe and glasses of the painter Piet Mondrian. The pipe is sitting in a bowl and the two pairs of open round rimmed glasses are arranged on the left side of the bowl. These objects sit on a light toned table against a black background. The corner of the table extends to the top left of frame.
