It's #NewReleaseTuesday & I read an ARC of Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke so I can tell you to run out & grab yourself a copy cause it's BUCKWILD. Elevator pitch is a tradwife influencer wakes up in the 1800s but it's so much deeper than that, & might be the best book I've read so far in 2026.

Saw a Marvin Redpost book in a little free library today & it triggered a memory for me that there were a lot of gender-bending children's books out there between that and the Todd Strasser "Help I'm Trapped" series doing at least three gender swaps. I'm sure these weren't the only ones either.

Google Search AI works so well! I was curious as to why the production team of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine had destroyed the Defiant in Part 4 of their finale arc to replace it three episodes later and it spat this out at me:

A google AI overview that states that The USS Defiant was not destroyed in Deep Space Nine but was heavily damaged during the Battle of Sector 001 in Star Trek: First Contact, when it was struck by a Borg cube. The ship was later recovered and repaired, and its legacy continued with the introduction of the Defiant-class starships.
