It was hard limiting myself to nine games. I had to cut several Lucasgames adventures, Movie Musical Madness, You Don't Know Jack, Master of Orion 2, various Final Fantasies, Denki Blocks, Worms, Professor Layton, and once I hit "post", I'll remember five more games that should have made the list.

I love "You've taken your best shot, now it's my turn", the talk with Jubilee after he lost his Adamantium ("So it stopped hurting?" "Nope."), any Fastball Special, and I have fond memories of Not Dead Yet (although I have no intention to revisit it due to Somanyofus.com).

Panel 4: The point of view shifts to the side, we now see Superman on the left, standing behind Regan on the right. We're zoomed out even further, can now see Superman's calm face, and Regan turns around to look at it.
Again, two unconnected Word balloons.
Superman: You're much stronger than you think you are.
Superman: Trust me.
Panel 5: The camera has zoomed out even further, we now see two full figures standing at the edge of the rooftop. But Regan has turned around from the edge. The two hug silently. The wind blows Superman's cape around Regan's frail body, even that red piece of fabric hugs the kid.

Does Agatha look like Kathryn Hahn, original comic book Agatha, or the corpse from Avengers Disassembled? Because we are looking at three very different hypothetical scenarios.

Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness in the MCU. A brunette woman in her 40s, with a spellbinding charisma, exuding confidence while wearing a witch costume like an illustration from the Salem witch trials. No hat, just a tangled mane of locks.

Agatha Harkness as she appeared in the comic books before the character got drastically rejuvenated to resemble Kathryn Hahn's portrayal in the tv shows. This is an old woman, like an aging movie star in her 80s or 90s. A shock of white hair, very thin black eyebrows, probably painted on, raised like she is looking at us with palpable disdain. She is wearing a purple dress and shawl, holding a black cat.

The scene from Avengers Disassembled where the characters and the reader discover that the Agatha Wanda had been talking to the entire time is dead. And not recently deceased, but for quite some time, it seems. A dried corpse reminiscent of Norman Bates' mother in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho.

Historic records have proven that Christmas has been known and celebrated since at least the Stone Age. Checkmate.

Day 1: Across the Spider-Verse. Technical masterpiece, great character work, impeccable production designs, killer cliffhanger, a ton of setup for movie #3. All building on an already wonderful predecessor. Across the Spider-Verse is the Back to the Future 2 of comic book adaptations. I love it.
