Was searching up Paul the Octopus and I'd never heard this bit of lore before

Paul's notoriety attracted criticism from the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who accused him of being a symbol of Western decadence and decay. Ahmadinejad went on to say that "Those who believe in this type of thing cannot be the leaders of the global nations that aspire, like Iran, to human perfection, basing themselves in the love of all sacred values."

I charted my statements the other month, as someone on the first year of £9k fees I think I hit a point with interest that the debt just doesn't go down despite changing jobs twice with decent pay rises in that time

I've seen the horrific video and there has been professional analysis done of it by outlets like Bellingcat and NYT. It is not in fact an optical illusion like an image of a white and gold dress that others see in shades of blue. Some people are lying

From a BBC article: "It appears that even video evidence is open to interpretation at this point. Each person sees the same images and draws decidedly different conclusions - ones that frequently, perhaps not surprisingly, reinforce their previously established positions."

A large challenge is the rise in prisoners on remand in recent years (partly caused by the backlog itself). However the rate of trials paused cause of prisoner transport has outstripped the rise in remand. Serco had its contract renewed in 2019 despite a less than stellar record in prison escort.

I counted MPs gifts hospitality and other benefits going back to 2010 and found they've grown significantly www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
