I have so many but narrowed down to family friendly games (no Doom, Privateer 2 etc) and decided to go with this as it's superb and was developed a 20 minute walk from where I live. There's also a nice tribute a few hundred yards from the developer's old office.

Not exactly a single memory but visiting this legendary place in Dundee and picking up sone ZX Spectrum cassettes, staring at then art on the covers on the bus home and then the agonising load time before getting set about the new purchases!
