Today in Labor History October 10, 1937: British fascist leader Oswald Mosely was hospitalized from stones and bricks to the head, thrown by antifascists as he spoke to a crowd of his supporters in Liverpool. The image shows him right after getting hit, as he was trying to give the Nazi salute.

Today in #LaborHistory 10/10/1933: 18,000 #M3xican cotton workers struck in Pixley, California. 4 killed, but they ultimately won a raise. The #union led 24 #strikes in San Joaquin Valley in 1930s. Owners used bankers, merchants, ministers & Boy Scouts to attack the workers.

Of course, with Medicare for all, this wouldn't be an issue. Furthermore, by taking healthcare out of our compensation packages (for those of us lucky enough to have it), it would free up enough money to nearly double our salaries without any negative impact on profits or operating costs.
