New guitar (on the R) is finally done, phew! Much like the first, but with higher output pickups, and a GK-3 modeling pickup, internal install. The up and down patch buttons are nice to have onboard. The neck also has a zero fret, which I prefer. #guitar #luthier

New guitar project is well underway: just glued on the drop top. Black limba body with ovangkol top, shaped sort of like a Strandberg Sälen with a 335 lower horn. #luthier #guitar

A couple of thoughts on the US-Canada tensions: 1. if Trump were a poker player, he would loose his ass every time, and then throw over the table. 2. Scott Bessent must be shitting spaghetti noodles, if he has a brain. 3. This admin is setting up the US economy for many years of pain.

Words of wisdom from Carney about countries having their fiscal affairs in order: you don't know when the markets will start to pay attention. For reference, US debt is way up, and the return on US 30 year tbills is also way up. Not good. youtu.be/BXcmhptH_A4?...

Been having fun making a new guitar, chambered mahogany with a quilted maple top, in the style of a Strandberg Sälen, more or less. Also, home made pickups which are somewhere between a Charlie Christian and a mellow p-90.
