I feel this. Just today someone asked me for something that i actually completed a month ago, which i then sent to my boss and we both got busy forgot to do anything with it

I didn’t realize today was release day! Good thing I’m in the office which is close to my favourite book store I have *mumble mumble* hours playing BG3, so I’ve been waiting for this one since it was announced

If i ever fall ass-backwards into money, my dream is leaving corporate life opening a book store. I just have no idea how i could make it make financial sense with my current life

I really liked the contrast of listening to the first interview after the more recent one. You can hear how much he hasn’t figured out for himself back then

Supergiant from #marvelcrisisprotocol #mcp #minipainting Unfortunately, she is neither super nor giant

I also successfully heliosed Red Skull and Bill in different games at the event. Usually i roll enough that if i get slightly worse than average, i still kill. But you can’t assume the 1 damage out of 23. That always feels bad

Michael Bertrand @michaelbertrand.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

I didn’t get a lot of painting done this week, but at a GT last weekend i shot Hulkbuster with a 32-dice Helios I needed him to die (but i still lost the game because other things didn’t sported my way after that)

An ungodly amount of MCP dice being rolled

Thank you digging this out of my memory hole. I have not thought about Prozzäk in decades

Michael Bertrand @michaelbertrand.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Shick posted in the fan discord that this actually doesn’t exist, unfortunately

110

Michael Bertrand @michaelbertrand.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Yeah. Unless you have the last week version. He should be the same on both sides though

010

Michael Bertrand @michaelbertrand.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

It’s a mistake. Shick acknowledged it in the fan discord yesterday

Partway through Arnim Zola. The update has made me motivated to put a dent in my backlog of characters I’m unlikely to play #mcpfriday

Model of Arnim Zola. Unprimed but the TB screen face is painted

As i say to people “you’re an adult. You don’t need to spend time with anyone you don’t want to” Any other reasons don’t really matter

I think there’s so much to like in this update. I’m excited to see what the meta shakes out to be in the next few months #mcp #marvelcrisisprotocol

Yeah, Netrunner is actually in a pretty good place, even years after FFG stopped making it. The current standard card pool is fully he NSG sets, and under them it’s always been fully print and play legal Even at worlds they have a printer in case you need a last minute deck change

If it helps fight the loathing, Girl With a Thousand Faces was one of my favourite books this year

Michael Bertrand @michaelbertrand.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

My town’s summer reading program at the library gives points for the minutes read, not the number of books read. That really helped get my kid motivated because even though she started reading slowly, just putting in 15-30 minutes gets rewarded!

Finally painted up the Battle for the Throne from #mcp It’s been sitting on my shelf primed for 2 years #minipainting

My favourite for this thought experiment is Dune and keep Kyle MacLachlan.

Haha thanks. It’s funny because i probably assembled him like a year ago and i have no recollection to why i chose that head over the other one

After a bit of a break due to general busyness and nice weather, i painted Bishop this week. I played in an event last weekend with the new crises and i enjoyed them so far bsky.app/profile/mich...

Since you asked for suggestions, my tip for eyes is to base coat the face, then do the eyes, then go back around with the face colour to pare back the white I find it easier to outline than to get eyes right the first time

Michael Bertrand @michaelbertrand.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

I recently finished We Burned So Bright by TJ Klune. It is incredibly sad and a great read

This graphic is a real punch in the gut, I’m a good way. But as someone who follows a bunch of artists because i like their stuff, i think it’s super cool to see lots of different styles, both high technical quality, and quick doodles. Both show lots of skill and are fun!

Michael Bertrand @michaelbertrand.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

Asgard starter set is super spicy! I love every model in that box

100

Michael Bertrand @michaelbertrand.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

Do you mean like the belt buckle? It’s just a neutral grey highlighted up to white. Nothing super fancy

Blue Marvel and Spectrum from #marvelcrisisprotocol #minipainting These are number 149 and 150 painted models in this game for me

I’m planning on coming up TCAF this year! I couldn’t make it last year when you were there, so I’m glad you’ll be back!

This is absolutely the greatest thing I’ve ever seen. Every photo is a work of art

The best part of this episode was Luke reliving the psychic damage he received in the previous episode with @mmmegan.bsky.social and @nileseguin.bsky.social They done even to to be there to cause chaos (the honey is obviously clear)
