"what do they see as the purpose of an undergraduate degree?" "what value(s) do people assign to a university degree?" "what is the difference between the actual & stated reasons for obtaining an undergraduate degree?" and so on. but these may lead to awkward answers for the universities which reveal them to be structurally ableist institutions acting as a class-barrier which dispenses qualifications to allow (some) people to secure white-collar employment so i guess it's easier just to say kids these days are lazy & contemptible and call it a day
