*sigh* it doesn't have to be like this look--the uk doesn't have much (any?) land-based missile defense. investing in some would be good. presenting it as a protective dome over the country is bad, because that is not a real thing that can be done for any amount of money

I (literally) don't get a vote but my vote would be to just run up debt so you have money to provide things that energize the economy... like education and health care and, yes, defense prosperity via austerity has afaik never worked
