Every artist right now needs to watch this film and ask yourself why you are really being silent or nonpolitical.

Seems like there's a message here for Democrats. Like doing the right thing is the right thing to do. From Eric Foner's Forever Free
Summary: post civil war radical Republicans in Congress proven right again and again pushing for the rights of freed blacks in the South in the face of southern and centrist northern opposition.

Social media on children:
Scene from Torchwood, Children of Earth, where children are abducted by aliens and used as recreational drug. An apt metaphor for social media use of children for profit.

A lot of people are out there yesterday repeating this false equivalence. Heard it on MSNBC, I think it was Nicolle Wallace show?, but there was pushback at least. The automatic impulse to bash Biden and both-sides is strong.

Did a cross country motorcycle tour last summer and I was astonished at the amount of wind farms along I-80 in Iowa and I-40 in Texas. Just miles and miles and miles of windmills. A beautiful sight to behold.

Wow, didn't even realize he exhumed David Paterson for an endorsement.
After Spitzer resigned in the wake of a prostitution scandal, Paterson was sworn in as governor of New York state on March 17, 2008. Paterson held the office of governor during the Great Recession, and he implemented state budget cuts. He also made two significant appointments: In January 2009, he appointed then-U.S. representative Kirsten Gillibrand to a vacant U.S. Senate seat (a position she has held since), and, in July 2009, he appointed Richard Ravitch as lieutenant governor. Paterson launched a campaign for a full term as governor in the 2010 New York gubernatorial election, but he announced on February 26, 2010, that he would bow out of the race. During the final year of his administration, Paterson faced allegations of soliciting improper gifts and making false statements; he was eventually fined in excess of $62,000 for accepting free New York Yankees tickets. He was not charged with perjury.[4]

Elon Musk is a Nazi-saluting weirdo with a breeding fetish who spent the last six months as the lead actor in an effort to usurp basic functions of the federal government, cutting off aid and research to millions of people across this country and the world, leading to major human suffering and death, along with the elevation of fascist ideals and a nihilistic world view that centers cutting taxes for the uber-wealthy while establishing racist and gendered hierarchies favoring straight white men like himself. He would like you to forget all that, and the mainstream media is helping him do it.

Ted Budd's BS response to emails regarding Trump's autocratic military parade.
Dear Michael,

Thank you for contacting me regarding the United States Army’s 250th birthday. It is an honor to represent the people of North Carolina. I appreciate the opportunity to hear from you on this issue.

The Army was established on June 14, 1775, a year before we gained our independence. This year marks the 250th anniversary of the Army and they will hold a celebration in the nation’s capital with several commemorations, including speeches from Army leadership, community outreach events, and showcases of Army units, history, and lineage.

I am extremely grateful for the brave men and women who served our country with dedication, honor, and valor. I look forward to celebrating 250 years of the Army defending our nation, bearing faith and allegiance to our country, and upholding the Constitution.

As your Senator, I am committed to fully supporting the entire U.S. armed forces, service members and their families, and our nation’s veterans.

If you are interested in learning more about what is going on in Congress and my work in Washington D.C. for North Carolinians, you may visit my website at budd.senate.gov.
