The beach at Neptune State Park near Yachats, 2019. Time to go back one of these days. #RockinTuesday #TidesOutTuesday #ColorADay + #BlueTue #ECK #WCK #PNW #Nature #Photography

A sunny day at a rugged beach at Neptune State Park. The foreground is dominated by large, dark, textured rock formations clustered on the sand. Bleached pieces of driftwood and small logs are scattered around the rocks and across the sandy ground. In the background, waves with white foam roll onto the shore beneath a vast, clear blue sky that extends across the entire horizon. Two people can be seen walking near the water.

We’re just south of Bandon and if I get up on time I can catch the awesome sunrises.

Two Brown Pelicans (Pelecanus occidentalis) at the jetty for today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme of #Brown #ECK #WCK #PNW #Birds #Pelican #Ocean #Nature #Photography

Two brown pelicans swim in choppy, bright blue ocean water with gentle waves rolling in the background at the jetty in Bandon. The pelican in the foreground faces left, vigorously splashing its wings against the water's surface to create white foam around itself. The second pelican floats calmly just behind it, facing forward with its long beak angled downward.

I wish this was real, but sadly it’s satire.
