Sorry but other than the stakes of the game and the big stage I just find the game play itself boring with a bunch of whiny players

I haven’t agreed with everything he said especially supporting the Nazi but he’s right about Bernie. Bernie and his fake Democrat supporters are a big reason we have Trump

010

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Ro Khanna is an antisemite and a terrible person. If the support of a guy with a Nazi tattoo wasn’t a give away then maybe you are too

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

Again Dombrowski had an epically poor offseason. Embarrassing

150

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

It’s hard to overstate how bad a job Dombrowski did this offseason

Need some sports news to drown out the annoying politics. Only a few weeks until training camp and we can over analyze practice reps

Egypt losing like that is a beautiful thing.

Prediction: I think the Flyers will get Carlsson and LeBron will go to Cleveland

The leftists being happy the United States lost is exactly why most people hate leftists

So I guess the cherished dream of a Senate candidate, who, sure, had a Nazi tattoo, and, yes, left racist and homophobic posts on Reddit, and, okay, sexted every woman in the Maine phone directory while married, but maybe, just maybe, perhaps, fingers-crossed, wasn’t a full-on rapist, has died.

Dem leaders have taken the reasonable members for granted. They cowtow to the leftists because they aren’t worried about losing the votes of the others who are the majority. They should start worrying.

000

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Shocking that the degenerate Nazi had another allegation come out. Dems need to boot these horrible leftists out of the party before there’s no party left to save

Happy 250th America! As frustrating as the current times are, I still love this country and always will.

030

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

All the Democrats had to do to not screw up this election was to avoid becoming a socialist, anti-semitic party and they failed miserably. Most of America is actually moderate but you wouldn’t know by socials

The Celtics trade was made possible by the Clippers Kawhi trade I think. It raised the value of that 2028 pick enough to get Brown

Ok back on here for sports. Avoiding politics because I dislike most of them on both sides at this point

Philly sports might never win again

110

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

Who’s going to be the Eagles next OC?

410

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 02/12/2025

I’m going to say something unpopular for the internet. The egging of the house while wrong wasn’t actually that big a deal. Teenagers do dumb shit all the time. I’m sure many of you did dumb stuff. Do we really have to treat every thing with the same extreme outrage? Save it for the big stuff

5102

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 30/11/2025

Hurts didn’t play well but the main problem is definitely the play design and play calling. Patullo is culprit 1 because he’s adding nothing and stinks at calling plays. Sirriani is culprit 2 because his offensive philosophy was always weak

070

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 29/11/2025

Sirriani admitted he had no answers. That’s a really bad look. That means you need a new voice. That can OC or HC but things don’t fix themselves. Maybe they try a consultant first I suppose

151

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 18/11/2025

I try not to overreact and act like I know more than pro coaches but the use of Calcaterra seems moronic

030

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 18/11/2025

I haven’t posted on twitter in a year but still used it for news. Hadn’t posted here in a while just because I enjoyed the semi-break but it’s good to be back

Back for the season. Let’s do this BlueSky! Go Birds!

2161

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 24/04/2025

It’s been a minute BlueSky. Excited for the draft. My advice is to not freak out if Eagles pick a guy projected in 40s. Multiple reports are out that the guys in the 25-45 range are in the eye of the beholder so don’t get caught in a ‘reach’ label in this draft

080

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 19/03/2025

Eagles have top 30 visits with 3 OL. Becton, Connerly and Mbow

170

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 17/03/2025

Love the Ojulari signing. I can't imagine Huff will be on the team opening day

260

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

I'm hoping we pick up one new player who doesn't project to play in preseason game #3. Is that too high a bar?

020

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 14/03/2025

I don’t mean this to be overly negative more of a statement of fact but pretty much every pickup of the Eagles played badly last year except Dillon who didn’t play at all

120

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

The Eagles hired Parks Frazier and Montgomery VanGorder. They’re really raiding the country clubs for this year’s offensive staff

220

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

You can view Uche as Howie doubling down on a mistake (Huff) or taking another swing depending if you’re a glass half full or empty person

110

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

Uche is pretty much a flier move. He hasn’t been good. Had one good year. If camp body then fine but it’s a nothing move

130

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 13/03/2025

Had time to think on AJ Dillon. The fit is there as a power short yardage guy, pass protector and guy who can catch a pass and help wear down the defense. A more powerful less shifty Gainwell. But he also might not make the team because of injury & general fall off

250

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 12/03/2025

I am being patient Howie just like you asked

040

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 11/03/2025

Money is still crazy. Howie smart to sit out. Guys like Allen & Landry got cut because of contract and then got bigger contracts in other places. Why wouldn't those teams trade a 7 to get them on current deal?

000

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Disappointed Howie didn't get Myles Garrett back from the Browns for Pickett

Welcome to NFL free agency. Twitter's loss is Bluesky's gain. Maybe the NFL will end up wishing it had allowed its teams to open accounts here.

The good part of the bad place breaking is it forced me to hunt for more news sources here. I was only checking it to see breaking nfl news and felt dirty every time I did

180

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Guard for Tampa just got 3-22. That doesn't feel like the huge guard money they were predicting. Wonder if that brings Becton back in play

030

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Ha, ha, ha while Williams, Sweat etc are announced elsewhere. Barkley is worth celebrating twice

150

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 10/03/2025

Eagles already have a great team even without the pending free agent losses. Today Eagles will play the comp pick game but Howie will add players at the few areas that are less than strong at some point.

160

Dave (eaglesdiehard) @meyerla.bsky.social · 09/03/2025

I think rebuilding is too generous for this team. That insinuates they had something built at one point.
