Harris did not have trans people in the room about trans issues. We had a few trans volunteers like myself who were two steps removed but never asked proactively to help with messaging. We are an afterthought. Instead, we had people like Stephanie that doesn’t know not to use transgender as a noun.

She acts like this is somehow not her fault. It’s because of the senior leadership consultants of the Harris Campaign that made her run from trans issues. This allowed the Trump Campaign to control the narrative of how Democrats believe, thus disarming ourselves instead of holding to our values.

I love Amtrak and trains, but isn't it ridiculous that a DC- NYC Amtrak trip is just as expensive as a DC - Texas plane trip for two. If we want trains to be a real alternative to cars and planes (and meet climate goals), we really need to more heavily subsidize fares and make trains affordable.

I literally just got out of meetings with members of Congress & used the bathroom on my way out. Trans women are women—full stop. We're every bit as "biologically female" as cis women & Speaker Johnson's statement doesn't change the fact that women's spaces include trans women.
