The Pokemon Adventures definitely has the best iteration of Mewtwo who's cute and supportive of a trainer going up against this match up

I'm use to Pokemon media not following the in game logic regarding move typing etc, but these two pages are from back to back chapters which makes it feel more silly than usual.

I think one of the best improvements going from part 2 to part 3 of Kaiji was that Fukumoto set the manga in a furnace so that there would be face melting scenes

Nothing captures the sleazy and greasy struggles of Kaiji Part 3 more than this panel (positive)

Shoutout to my good friend Codex for making this! Not an anime, but I want to also say that the Soyo focused manga is a real good read and it would rank in the S(oyo) tier category for me.

The Kaiji anime is great, but the manga is definitely hitting much more stronger for me

The atmospheric mega structure, cool human character designs, and horrifying monster designs all being fantastic in the series Tower Dungeon might be the pinnacle of art for Nihei? Which is saying a lot given the strengths of his other works

Angel Densetsu really laying the ground work in the later chapters for the mangaka honing in on a cast of female characters with strong companionship and physical strength with his next series in Claymore
