Happy shark awareness day!! 💙🦈 Sharks are not only cool but also some of the most misunderstood creatures. They are important predators that keep other animal populations in check. If they disappeared the whole ocean ecosystem would collapse They are wild animals, not monsters!

Urban Sharks 🏙️🦈✨ A clear blue sky and just another typical day in the life of the sharkfolk in downtown Tidebay! #shark #art

An illustration depicting an urban scene by my sharkfolk in downtown Tidebay.

The illustration was created by drawing over 3D models of the city in a chosen scene that shows some buildings in a perspective angle viewed from below.

There are several sharkfolk walking around the scene following their daily routines. From left to right, there's a whale shark wearing a striped shirt and a scarf around its neck; a common reef shark holding a book or folder while wearing a peplum top with puffed sleeves; a hammerhead shark carrying a bag and talking to someone on a flip phone while wearing a formal long-sleeved shirt with a floral print, a belt, and a large jewelry necklace; a copper shark holding folders or books while waving to another friend next to a nurse shark, both wearing casual clothes; and finally, another reef shark waving back to its approaching friend, wearing an off-the-shoulder puffed-sleeved top with a zigzag pattern along with a cropped top and bracelets with large jewelry.

Each building has its own unique shape and personality, with an architecture reminiscent of a mixture of styles such as Art Deco and Googie, in pastel colors of pink, blue and yellow and shades of white and cyan: The most prominent buildings are: A circular building with yellow tiles and a rooftop garden. A cylindrical building with blue tiles, a crown-like structure at the top, a straight structure shaped like a dorsal fin, and right in the center, a large clock tower with pink tiles and shapes reminiscent of splashes of water. There is plenty of tropical vegetation, large trees, palm trees, and gardens scattered throughout the scene or on the rooftops of the buildings; there are two spherical lampposts. Some seagulls are flying between the buildings. A passenger plane crosses the open, cloudless blue sky.

Surrounding the shark are stars, pink, purple and blue crystals. And a sequence of manta rays swimming overhead. All on a light blue background.

Beach friends! We found some critters on a recent walk during low tide. Say hi to them! #photography #animal #ocean #sealife

Two hermit crabs being held on a hand. One of them has emerged from its shell while the other has remained sheltered

A view of the ocean in midday under a bright blue sky. A lone seagull is floating in a tidepool while a group of sand pipers can be seen in the distance

A horseshoe crab on the beach. It's rather old, as evidenced by the barnacles on its carapace

A whelk sitting on the beach. It's still alive: its body can be seen inside the shell

summer night on the river farm!! done for a cancelled stardew valley zine, 2017 🐕 || #art #fanart #stardewvalley

A page with four drawings on it, each in their own framed panel. The drawings depict scenes from the game Stardew Valley, showing the river farm at night in the summer. the first drawing is a low angle shot over some water, showing a plank bridge, some fishing gear, and a house in the background. glowing fireflies hover around. The second drawing shows a farmer sitting on the plank bridge with their feet in the water, faithful yellow dog nearby. The third drawing shows a scarecrow and sunflowers in the early morning. the fourth drawing shows a house interior, with the yellow dog curled up in a moonbeam, asleep. Soft purples, blues, greens, and yellows are primarily used across all drawings.
