If anyone's in the southeast and wishes to see some of the most bizarre, interesting, and otherwise weird computers of the 90s, please feel free to stop by VCFSE in Smyrna Georgia on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to check out the public debut of The Panda Project's Archistrat Technology

Big boi, full of treasure. What's their loot drops like though???

a shiny lugia rises out of their ocean, their large belly sticking out, clearly full of treasure.

Cad confidence restored, have made replacement retaining rings. Now the harder part of replacement knob and probably the cam assemblies before they break

Crt from a very old oscilloscope now with rings

Looks like the plastic holding the crt in place has completely given up after 40 years of service. Time to go into cad and try remodel it from whats left so I can 3d print a new one.

Shards of brittle plastic, with some deteriorated glue dust on them

Pretty easy to get inside that ts912, but seeing a lot of carbon composition resistors which need checking as they tend to drift

Inside of a 1980s oscillscope with really long button and potentiometer extensions

Old round motorola transistor sporting a neat radial heatsink

Evil carbon composition resistora that tend to drit next fo nicer metal films

Really long led/incadecent light pipe for power indicator

Back into repairing retro stuff Next up on the agenda is this Tektronix ts912 10MHz analog storage oscilloscope Clearly missing a knob for channel 2 and needs a good clean, but time for a look inside for obvious faults before trying to switch it on.

Had the massive good fortune to run into a Hawaiian Monk Seal for the 2nd time in 3 days. She's endangered and protected, so I gave her a wide berth. This shot is 30x zoom. 🦑 #seal #ocean #maui #hawaii #nature #goodmorning #lucky #love #beautiful #wildlife #beach #photography #zen #marinelife

It is kinda funny that the fursona fanarts I have done have been for protogens. I have drawn GravisLizard's Clive and @wysiwygprotogen.bsky.social 's Wiz Here is the piece I made of Wiz! Also hella cool follow there, really liked seeing his old computer stuff, and the car posts? Nice. Fun!
