It's official!! (That's EST btw)

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 30/10/2025

My Star-Crossed World Kirby Canon video is over 60% edited now. REALLY trying to get it done for Saturday, but at the VERY least, it will be ready for NEXT Saturday! (It will also be over 14 minutes long)

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 23/10/2025

Okay, so Marx & The Novas is the oldest Kirby Canon remake on my channel, the 5th shortest clocking at just 4 minutes, and has that "old era" quality going for it. Realistically, I can't see any REAL huge lore for Air Riders, but I'll take any excuse to redo it at this point.

My son learned the song "Baby Shark" in school. It's all over...

Fun Fact: Now that we have a release date for Metroid Prime 4, we can say for sure it will take 3096 Days (6/13/17 - 12/4/2025) to release from the original announcement. The time between the ANNOUNCEMENT of the DSi to the LAUNCH of the Switch was 3074 days! (10/2/08 - 3/3/17)

391

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 30/08/2025

Fun fact: As of today, 8/30/25, it has been EXACTLY 3000 Days since Metroid Prime 4 was announced on 6/13/2017! KEEP IT UP BABY!!!

Lol, saw this in a Nintendo email and chuckled to myself a bit.

Unlocking Max Sonar in DK Bananza was simultaneously the best, and worst thing I could have ever done for myself in the game.

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 18/07/2025

Only played for about 2 hours so far, but I can already tell this game is going to be truly incredible! One early challenge stage stumped me for a bit trying to play it like a Mario game before realizing: "Wait, what am I doing? I'm freaking DONKEY KONG!" Definitely going to take my time with this!

090

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 18/07/2025

Oh yeah, here we go baby! About to play what I feel is the TRUE start of the Switch 2 generation

031

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 16/07/2025

Can't wait for Donkey Kong Bananza tomorrow!

092

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 10/07/2025

Ah yes, these two work perfectly together! Kirby & Ribbon too.

Played in the Mario Kart 8 Tournament again this year, Good news! I made it to the finals!! Bad news: I came in last in the finals...quite humbling indeed.

Today, I ran into someone I hadn’t seen in 18 yrs. I met them at a GameStop event when I was 17 and we talked for hours about how I wanted to be a YouTuber. They ended up finding my videos, realized I was that same guy, and I remembered his name when he walked up to me today.

Hey guys, I will once again be at TooManyGames this year/weekend. Still won't be doing anything special, but will be around Friday & Sunday if you wanted to say hi or something! I will be wearing this lanyard and one of these two shirts!

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 23/06/2025

Okay, two months later and I finally got around to beating this game! Gotta say, it was pretty hard to finish. I feel like there was a LOT of potential for greatness, but it got repetitive QUICK. Having to hold down the L/R buttons for so long, WITH RUMBLE, sure didn't help... (RIP trigger finger)

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

"Popular game with new gimmick is more fun with the new gimmick!"

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

Okay, I just recently played this game a few months ago. If you like Kirby, or either/both of the games TobyFox has developed, I REALLY think you should pick this game up for the price. One of those that's better played as unknown to the concept as possible!

040

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 07/06/2025

Decided the best way to find out, is to do it myself! I played Tetris Effect Connected, as that Tetris game seemed EXTRA sensitive with the inputs, where every time it would misregister a hard drop, it would sometimes drop SEVERAL at once. (1/2)

Almost as if the two games/platforms have completely different audiences!

Okay, looking up reports of the Switch 2 Pro Controller's D-Pad, a lot of people seemed to think it was a huge improvement, but now I see a couple saying it's just as bad as the Switch 1's? Can anyone who plays Tetris/Fighting games confirm which of the two is true?...

Screw Walmart for cancelling my Pro-Order, but thankfully I was able to secure one at Best Buy!

I was genuinely curious if anyone who helped develop Drill Dozer is currently with WayForward, as the bosses, villains, and pixel art seem STRAIGHT out of that company, despite being made by GameFreak. What I got was possibly the most inaccurate statement I have ever read.

181

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 28/05/2025

Overheard a conversation where two people were discussing Madden. One guy said it's basically the same game each time. The other guy defended it saying "ALL fighting games are the same too!" I'm not even good at, or into, fighting games, but that kind of defense is a STRETCH!

I'll take "Things I won't be doing" for $200 Ken!

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 19/05/2025

Ya know, the Wii U had a LOT of issues, most of which involve the GamePad, but I will say this: Wind Waker HD would NOT be the same without it! Having that map on hand while sailing, or being able to see which way you're standing to direct wind makes things SOOO much better!

040

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

Well, I can tell it's been a REALLY long time since I touched an actual Wii U game on this thing. My GamePad's battery life is less than two hours! Thing has definitely been SEVERELY overdue for a battery replacement...

010

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

There is one last game I wanted to play and finish before the Switch 2 releases. A remake of one of my favorite Zelda games of all time that I put off for almost 12 years... Will it hold up, or is my love for the game pure nostalgia? We shall see!

140

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 30/04/2025

How could I NOT order a latte with that name?

171

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 29/04/2025

A bit over 24 hours after the Dream Display, will now remove the video off my channel. Didn't feel like it was a video worth keeping, but just wanted to give everyone a fun little update who DIDN'T watch the original. I instead just updated the 'Wake Up' video's description to say I got a Switch 2!

170

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 13/04/2025

Okay, I think everyone had a chance to see my latest video by now. I think it's time to apply the PFP @kimiomega.bsky.social created too!

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 12/04/2025

Now that the 110+ hour behemoth is finished, my next game is a shorter little gem we most certainly will NEVER see a sequel to...

050

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 11/04/2025

I never clapped, or gave a standing ovation to a video game of all things, but OH MY GOODNESS, this was probably the first time I EVER wanted to... That game was simply INCREDIBLE from start to finish!

1130

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 09/04/2025

Well, to everyone who CAN preorder a Switch 2 today, hope you're all successful!

180

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

I swear, these past few days have been the biggest freaking whiplash of Switch 2 news, or Nintendo news in general I have ever freaking experienced. I... I just want to play Kirby... Is that really so much to ask?... 😞

1211

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

Sa: Where were you this whole time? Sh: No idea, it was Dark, but it doesn't Matter. Sa: Any idea where you are now? Sh: Zero. And who's this other guy? I know YOU'RE a big Super Star, but him? K: I'm the new director of Kirby. Sorry, this probably feels like a New World to you!

2103

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

I was just thinking... With Kumazaki working on modern Kirby, and Sakurai coming back to do an Air Ride sequel, all we need is Shimomura to come back from the Void and remake the Dark Matter trilogy, then the Kirby Directorverse will be complete!* *We'll just ignore Flagship

1151

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

Haven't been able to focus on work at all. All I can think of is Switch 2. Kirby. Metroid Prime 4. Donkey Kong. KIRBY! DID I MENTION KIRBY?! April 9th can't come soon enough. And if I'm not successful then, I have to wait until May 8th to see if Nintendo selects me to buy one from THEM...

1140

Meteorz @meteorz.bsky.social · 03/04/2025

In case you haven't seen it yet, @kimiomega.bsky.social made me a little trailer of my own! (And yes, this video was obviously made FAR in advance, just in case, haha) youtu.be/TvNHNEDSyD0
