Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get into plant identification? Is there something like the merlin bird id app for plants?

I hate to say it but I think morning people have had a point this whole time (all the birds come to my bird feeder in hordes in the mornings) (I like having an hour before work for drinking coffee and watching birds)

ICE killing #AlexPretti should remind you of police killing #PhilandoCastille. Both men had concealed weapon permits, did not draw their guns, & were killed in Minn. These homicides are the price of unaccountable policing. These deaths are variations on the same fatal theme.

Alex Pretti’s last words were “are you ok?” said the woman next to him who ICE also pepper sprayed in the face.

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him. White. Hot. Rage.

ICE just shot another one of my neighbors. They had the person on the ground, being beaten by several agents, and then fired multiple shots. In front of the donut shop where we like to get donuts for our kids.

when is it considered a civil war? I always thought if America descended into a modern civil war, that this is what it would look like, attacks being held in major cities rather than battlegrounds

omg 🥹 tysm for showing interest This was my very basic idea summary thing No countries have been named yet LOL

The players start off in a small country ruled by one queen. 10 years ago, a war broke out between two neighboring nations.

Country 1 made a large, coordinated magical assault on Country 2, and it destroyed the region's major cities. They annexed the ruined Country 2, and it became a part of Country 1.

However, the king of Country 1 was assassinated by a rogue mage, assumed to be an act of revenge.

After, his daughter claimed the throne and her first decree was outlawing the use of of magic except approved spells cast only by individuals who have a license. Those who cast spells without a license, or those with a license who cast spells that are not approved, get jail time, or a sizable fine or a bounty depending on the circumstance. The campaign starts off 5 years after the law is put in place.

Tensions are rising. People are being accused of crimes they did not commit. They are running out of room in the region's many prisons.

Thousands of people have bounties out on them for casting unapproved magic. Magic Permits are becoming more and more difficult to obtain. Members of magically-aligned species and groups are fleeing the country, lest they be unfairly persecuted.

And, in the midst of it, a resistance group is beginning to form.

I heard a rumor ICE may be coming to Philly next and I hope we can keep the hitchbot energy going, if so

Dan Sheehan on Twitter: Nothing makes me laugh as consistently as remembering the story of Hitchbot, the hitchhiking robot that made it all the way across Canada and tried to do the same in the USA but was immediately beaten to death in Philadelphia

The first photo is a happy little robot holding a flag. The second one is a dismembered robot in pieces surrounded by dirt and trash
