People are complaining about the BotW/TotK style item selection as if we’re going to be managing a dozen swords, ten shields, six bows, and 50 random enemy drops, when really it’s like 20 items total and you can’t even use them all as either child or adult Link. In other words: it will be fine.

Jeez… The final boss of Dragon Quest 6 is some S Tier bullshit! I had to hunt Metal King Slimes (Heck Yeah!) for hours just to make it bearable, and even then I nearly had my full party wiped a couple times. Oof!

So after I posted my tweet, I went and downloaded the demo just so I could see this game for myself. This was my first try. Maybe there’s some display lag for the OP - I just played on the device - but yeah, I didn’t find this one hard at all

Something I always found interesting about Ocarina of Time is that seemingly every young woman has the hots for Link at some point during the game, and I gotta believe someone on that dev team was a fan of Tenchi Muyo

I’ve started to see people make accusations that the Dragon Quest XII character designs are not from Toriyama. That they look “wrong” or “like A.I.” and sure… nothing’s out of the question these days, but it’s also pretty unfair to the artist himself. His art style that was constantly evolving…
