I was making small talk with this guy between sets at a show a few years ago and he showed me a spreadsheet on his phone where he rates every album he listens to on a scale of 1-100 with .1 increments. So there were albums with ratings like 49.3 and 84.8.

I don’t even understand what people mean when they talk about objective criticism of art. Do they want to read 1,000 words about the shot composition of a movie? Becuase as someone who had to read a bunch of that type of writing in college I don’t believe anyone actually wants to do that.
