Any French users of #Meshy here? Do you also have problems typing characters that require the dead key? codeberg.org/sesivany/meshy/issues/…

dead keys / accents not working
Hi! I am french-speaking and typing in Meshy is challenging, in french. I can type characters like "é" (`é` in HTML, `U+00E9 LATIN SMALL LETTER E WITH ACUTE` in unicode), since it's a single key on my (Canada/French) keyboard. But characters like `à` (`à` in HTML, `U+00E0 LATIN S...

Good applications are made up of little details. The node name is now shown in the list of apps running in the background, so that you know which of your companions Meshy is connected to.
A screenshot of the list of apps running in the background in GNOME Shell. The interface is in Czech. There are two apps: Meshy and Remmina. Meshy has a "subtitle": sesivany-v4.

#Meshy will always be a Linux-first app, but it runs well on #macOS, too. So well that it's now officially supported and featured on our website. #meshcore

Meshy 26.09 is out! 🎉 There are dozens of fixes and improvements, but two stand out: You can now download information about nodes in your mesh from the #MeshCore project's online database. Second, there are a lot of polishing and consistency improvements in the UI. We hope you enjoy the release!

#Meshy no longer shows mentions as @[name] in plaintext, but highlights them in pill frames. It's a little UI change, but makes chats more pleasant to use. #meshcore
A screenshot of a chat where the first message is:
@sesivany-sc, hello!
second message: @sesivany-v4, hi how are you?
And in the text field to compose messages, there is: @sesivany-sc, I'm fine!
All mentions of users are highlighted in a pill frame. The mention of the "home" user is highlighted with bold text and accent color.

Just received a new #Meshcore device (WisMesh Pocket V2) and set it up with the lovely @meshy. Took less than two minutes to get it to work from taking it out of the box to chatting with my friends!

The redesigned Device Info screen landed today. In the original version, there was too much information stacked in one view, so users had to scroll a lot. The layout with three tabs should be much easier to navigate. #Meshy #MeshCore

A little detail in the UI interface: the star that marks favourite contacts has moved to the contact subtitle. It should make the contact list cleaner. What do you think?
