Update: it's been about a week and a half without a functioning shower because even with landlord approval, it's fucking IMPOSSIBLE to get a plumber to come out to our place to ACTUALLY FIX IT!!! I'm in hell!!!!!!

📣Last day to speak up for America’s Roadless Areas and the wildlife that depends on them. Nearly 45 million acres of America’s forests could soon be opened to road construction and logging putting intact landscapes and critical wildlife habitat at risk. Take action now: ow.ly/yWkU50ZUHNR

He actually finally promised to go along with a fix, but the shower crapping out again THE DAY before we're calling someone to set up the shit is. It would be funny if I didn't want to bite someone

Anyway in completely unrelated news our shower once again has no hot water due to an issue we've Repeatedly, over Several Years, brought to our landlord's attention 🥰

Merrigel @merrigel.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I think every landlord should have a sort of soul bond with each of their tenants that makes every home issue said tenants face also happen wherever the landlords live. I think that would help a lot

as an artist I'd love this but I also think everyone else should also get it. I think UBI should just be default. But I think that would transform the economy into TRULY being the free marketplace of ideas, the car capitalists chase and hope they never catch lol #politics

FYI, from Toocheke. They added a Tapas migration feature.

A screenshot of an email that says

Import Your Tapas.io Comics Into WordPress
You may have seen the news about Tapas shutting down. If you or anyone you know publish there, you’re probably wondering what happens to all of your comics and years of work.

We’ve just added a new import feature to Toocheke Companion (available in version 2.23+) that can move an entire Tapas series into WordPress for you — including episodes, images, thumbnails, and original publish dates.

It keeps everything in order, so you don’t have to manually copy and paste hundreds of pages.

Had to do the manga and games ones too- look, I even limited myself to one Zelda!! (Undertale might be a reach timeline-wise since it was my first year in college, but I couldn't not include it when it had such an impact!!)

- but there are so many ways to achieve stuff like this that I keep bopping all around in my research 😂 Like WAIT, what if they were all just children of the clothing category parent object, and then we create/destroy instances accordingly?? I'm like. So out of my depth but it's still so fun LMAO

Merrigel @merrigel.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

RIGHT, they seem convenient!! I was trying to wrap my head around using them to regularly check arrays; I'm trying to make a little dressup game, and I saw someone using them to keep track of each clothing category to know which sprites to draw ay any given moment-
