I now have a working Health system! I rebuilt the attack system, it was clunky and error prone before, now its butter, attacks register cleanly. Got my projectiles working, they carry data from a resource so they can apply weapon status effects. #GameDev #IndieDev #GameDesign #IndieGames #SoloDev

Hey #godotdevs, my state machine isn’t set up for a animation player, and I’m having some troubles activating hitboxes at specific frames. I know the animation player could help but I’m pretty deep in code already, adding the animation player is going to be a pain. Is it worth it? #gamedev #game

I spent most of the day building a player finite state machine from scratch. It’s tough but makes coding much more simple and way easier to add more states. So far I have, Idle, Running, Jumping, Falling and Dashing. I really love coding lol #gamedev #indiedev #indiegames #coding #godot #indiegame
