After a few years of living in a flat and not really hearing the rain, it was a real joy hearing it again on the roof when we moved here. There is something comforting hearing it particularly if you are out walking the woods and it is falling through the the trees at the time of year

Been out to do another big shop which should last us now until we next get our pensions - Like most people of all ages we now have to budget more carefully than before just to survive and cut out treats which we used to enjoy and now can not afford

I can not be the only person with a great dislike of that traitor thing on the bbc. I have not watched it and really do not want to watch any thing that promotes dishonesty! I have seen enough of it on the so called news and bbc advertisements with the woman who uses shampoo for her dandruff

I will never forget the magic of hearing it for the first time on my transistor radio tuned into radio luxembourg while I sat in a tree to get a better reception- sounds as wonderful today as it did then 56 years ago

Some good news is that Horus is making more progress in getting better, it is slow and we are having to give him treats so he eats. Managed to give him 2 tablets, although it was a struggle with 1 of them - Will take time for his kidney to recover and I hope whoever kicked him gets kidney stones

Is it just the law, that is making it take so long? Are we as tax payers, paying anything towards the costings? Also is this case hold up other cases yet to be presented and concluded. Personally I found the article as written not very clear and you are far better at explaining things

Have paid to get an outside tap put in so we can not only water the garden when it needs it, but also wash the cars as we have a pressure washer which we purchased for when the tap was done which means we will no longer have to go to the car wash and the cost of the tap will be recouped

This is the person who many in the forces voted for after the 2nd world war, to change society for the better so that their children had better lives growing up than they did and for NHS where Health was not equated to Wealth - I thank them & hope we never forget what generations owe them

New toilet installed - it is higher than the other one which was recommended by the Physio department as the other was so low. The frame around it is something we have had for a long time as it makes it easier get on and off it - just one of those things that make life easier as you get older
