As a yugizoomer I remember having this… weirdly irrational hatred of pendulum? Like, I don’t even think it killed the game or anything, I just remember looking at the mechanic and thinking to myself “I don’t like this.” I think it broke my perception of yugioh more than anything else.

as someone who’s solitaire’d this deck a lot, navigating lines is super tough when you have to manage zone math, soft once per turns, insect locks, AND levels with ladybug, calculating in real time how many times to pick 1 or 2 to reach the desired level while maximizing your summons with dragonfly
