College starts back up for me but I do have a little something I’m cooking

This one’s a little out of my usual, but I have to emphasize that I am okay. CW for blood.

Meridian is standing in an unknown body of water while grabbing the sharp end of a knife, the blade stabbing into its hand and causing it to bleed. There is an intense sunset behind it.

Not something I normally do often but I drew my FF1 team as they were named, and the respective jobs they had.

A black and green Shinx wearing the White Wizard outfit with one paw holding a hammer and the other open, a Purple-ish blue Rockruff wearing red armour and holding a shield. A shiny Chespin dressed as a Black Wizard. An Alolan Meowth/Zangoose hybrid wearing the Ninja outfit.

I will also die on the hill that Gates has a better story than Explorers, even if by all accounts I consider it the weakest game on a gameplay perspective.

Meridian’s Art and Rambles @meridiancat.neocities.org · 14/06/2026

I’d say PMD but I’m a minority that does still very much enjoy main series gameplay, even if in some aspects the games have declined since Gen 6. But also, I just generally like dungeon crawlers a little more than just a standard turn-based RPG (and have played the non-Pokemon Mystery Dungeons too)

This also goes along with the idea that non-binary being “synonymous” with “girl-lite”. If you could run a power plant on anger you could use me to power every single machine on earth with how much *that* pisses me off.

010

Meridian’s Art and Rambles @meridiancat.neocities.org · 13/06/2026

It pisses me off to no end that non-binary folk just have this stereotype attached to them that is more often than not true at all. I’ve definitely experimented with she/her but honestly found it didn’t click with me, so I went back to what I preferred before. The idea of it being a stage is fake.

I’ve mostly just liked watching other YouTubers do them for the most part. They have a bit more spice than a typical randomizer. Though it’s not impossibly hard either.

I thought I wouldn’t like playing an archipelago session but it turns out when you pick the right game it’s actually a lot of fun? I say as my initial choice was VVVVVV instead of the more logical choice of Hollow Knight.

Long, long overdue reference update. Text document pertaining to specific details of the reference will be published to my neocities and also be available as a .txt upon request.

A white anthropomorphic cat is standing with its arms out and pans facing towards the viewer. It has green eyes and green inner ear fluff. The tail and foot paw are separately shown.

This is the whole angle I really see it from, it's a much more approachable price to playing it (legally) compared to the cost of buying the hardware, buying the game, and then hoping either of them work. But none of that is gonna stop me from saying it should still be cheaper :P

Meridian’s Art and Rambles @meridiancat.neocities.org · 22/02/2026

Honorable mentions to Spirit Tracks though, I think it's a game more people should give a chance even if it has its problems.

Hi everyone, I'm once again pushing my Stoat server in light of Discord being more like Discordant. It's not quite as set up as my Discord server but you can hang there and talk about whatever. I might try and make it a more generalized server rather than an art hub for my posts.

I'll definitely keep my Discord account at least for a little while during a possible transition period should be it be necessary but honestly if I can't have my porn without forfeiting my face or ID what good is the platform.

With the earlier days of online it definitely had a much better time spreading around, that much I can speak from my own experience. Though in a Wi-fi-less world (in an official capacity anyways) getting it is much much harder and I can only ever claim to have gotten it once on my own.

On that note, why is Pokérus rarer than a shiny? For something that only doubles the EVs you gain from battles it shouldn't be as rare as it is.

50/50 on either Pokérus or a shiny. Both will be bringing exceedingly loud noises of excitement.

I haven't posted it much on this account (or really at all I think???) but I've gotten into Animal Crossing and damn I really get it now and even have a five star island. Anyways, here's a sketch of Zell having a European breakfast because I really feel like he would.

A sketch of Zell (a gazelle) from Animal Crossing smoking a cigarette and holding a cup of hot coffee. He is saying "Bon giorno, pronk."

May or may not finish this but it's Janus explaining its history with the world and its ultimate sin. Major warning for angst and dysphoria. (reupload because of the bug)

A Dewott named Janus elaborating stoically in a comic format talking about its experience as a "former hero" and going rogue after having been sent back and rejected once more after returning to the human world, and the creation of the Renown.

Although not depicted "canonically" here this is the one and same Janus! I am also thinking of doing another redesign for it.

A shiny Chimchar with green eyes and a green insignia propositions you about a soon-to-be occupied chair. "Is this seat taken? It is now!" it says to you.
