... we wouldn't be having this conversation. There was a renewal of this conversation that eventually lead to me saying this.

Discord messages from me that say

"to be fair, there already is discourse over it in romhacks and my own conclusion on the matter is quite simply, if you aren't willing to engage with others in the community for help or learn how to do some things on your own you should fuck off. Honestly I don’t even care how incendiary it is to say but some things are for the better for the health of the scene. It’s kind of the same problem I have with it in relation to fanfiction."

This one’s a little out of my usual, but I have to emphasize that I am okay. CW for blood.

Meridian is standing in an unknown body of water while grabbing the sharp end of a knife, the blade stabbing into its hand and causing it to bleed. There is an intense sunset behind it.

Not something I normally do often but I drew my FF1 team as they were named, and the respective jobs they had.

A black and green Shinx wearing the White Wizard outfit with one paw holding a hammer and the other open, a Purple-ish blue Rockruff wearing red armour and holding a shield. A shiny Chespin dressed as a Black Wizard. An Alolan Meowth/Zangoose hybrid wearing the Ninja outfit.

Long, long overdue reference update. Text document pertaining to specific details of the reference will be published to my neocities and also be available as a .txt upon request.

A white anthropomorphic cat is standing with its arms out and pans facing towards the viewer. It has green eyes and green inner ear fluff. The tail and foot paw are separately shown.

I haven't posted it much on this account (or really at all I think???) but I've gotten into Animal Crossing and damn I really get it now and even have a five star island. Anyways, here's a sketch of Zell having a European breakfast because I really feel like he would.

A sketch of Zell (a gazelle) from Animal Crossing smoking a cigarette and holding a cup of hot coffee. He is saying "Bon giorno, pronk."

May or may not finish this but it's Janus explaining its history with the world and its ultimate sin. Major warning for angst and dysphoria. (reupload because of the bug)

A Dewott named Janus elaborating stoically in a comic format talking about its experience as a "former hero" and going rogue after having been sent back and rejected once more after returning to the human world, and the creation of the Renown.

a very dumb doodle showing why you can't get your shinx to make your extremely basic k-map

a shinx with a tilted head and a question mark

Now with more lore accuracy! I'll keep the other up because it doesn't look bad at all.

A shiny Chimchar with green eyes and a green insignia propositions you about a soon-to-be occupied chair. "Is this seat taken? It is now!" it says to you.

Meridian’s Art and Rambles @meridiancat.neocities.org · 31/10/2025

Meridian-char, aka when the monke mood kicks in. Looks like I got knife though! #pmd

it is also wearing knee pads.

Orzo the Treecko He's a more refined version of a mascot concept for a gimmick account that never got far beyond the planning stage, I've decided its been long enough since then that I can revisit the idea. He specifically uses his birch branch as a quarterstaff and is relatively laid back. #pmd

dumb krita testing doodle that I colored in featuring some Shinx I pulled off of route 202

a drawing of Shinx and a portrait of Smeargle
the shinx is staring absentmindedly with his tongue ticking out while Smeargle says "I think he might be acoustic" with acoustic being in red lettering.

I really wanna give making more of these a shot, maybe with better penmanship though. #pmd

I did color it but I’m not sure if I’m as much a fan of the background work, at least the main part of it turned out okay.

I’ll probably color this once I’ve decided all I want to put in there

Remember Ren? He's now got a proper redesign in light of some lore changes I've made to him. He's still got his sword though, can't forget that. He's now an Alolan Meowth/Zangoose hybrid.

Bipedal feline with heterochromic ears, one black and red, another red and white. Has golden eyes, and a mark on his face that is red that leads into his left ear. He is wearing a lumina scarf and has a sheath holding his sword on his back. His hand paws are red and his foot paws are half grey and half white. His tail is pointed upward obscured partially by his torso.

meanwhile in a completely unrelated fanfic...

A screenshot of a text document excerpt that reads:
"“Ferrose, is it okay if I read a book on genetics?” Ren asked politely.
“Only if you promise you’ll ask Sabet to explain those grown-up words, is that all right Sabet?”
“When did you suddenly care about science? Fine, I’ll help you out but you better not be a bother while I’m trying to study.” Sabet scoffed. Ren did not care, and would bother him anyway. He flipped around until he reached a section about hybrids, but did skim some unrelated sections about reproductive cycles and hatching."

The head is (mostly) complete, and the arms are complete as well. I kinda botched the wings outline but I can improvise a bit.

Meridian’s Art and Rambles @meridiancat.neocities.org · 09/08/2025

Trying to make the colors work is going to be annoying but I think at the very least the red is well covered.

The beginnings of Red, his head is not complete.

I haven't talked about it on this account yet but I've been in the planning process for writing a fanfic within PSMD's setting, but this is the main character Revanzi, a Chespin. The scarf is a replica! #PMD #MysteryDungeon

A shiny Chespin in an A-Pose, the signature "hood" is down, and he is wearing a newsboy cap. The Chespin has a neutral look. He is wearing a green and dark blue Harmony Scarf, along with a red shirt and pants. The shirt has a trim at the bottom that matches the Harmony Scarf design. A pair of pockets is obfuscated by the shirt, and a belt with an insignia is also covered. My signature is at the bottom, labelled Meridian.

It's kinda rough but it's something I might iterate on or maybe change.

A shiny Mewtwo wearing a black cap with a Pokeball on top. It has a scarf on it as well, and is wearing a pair of blue glasses.

I'm gonna be honest I don't feel confident in this, but I wanted to try and make a cabbit version of my sona because the propaganda got to me.

Meridian as a cabbit, it has long droopy ears and is wearing a green collar

It’s a little early but I settled on something I feel is good. Happy (early) Pride!

My sona with a non-binary flag in the background with the text “Never compromise your Pride” on the bottom.

little doodle I’m kinda in a weird transitional period with how I draw it

A pencil drawing of Meridian, an anthropomorphic cat, it stands with its hands held towards its chest. Giving a mischievous look.

Resonate inb4 the alt text puts me on several blocklists or pulls unsavoury types because of the worst possible coincidentally named track

A pencil drawing of my fursona Meridian sitting down playing Bastion, the music track “Build That Wall” can be heard and is written as:

Holy shit it just occurred to me I forgot to tell everyone on this account that I got a 3DS and modded it. Sorry! I made sure to get Flipnote on it, so *maybe* expect me to try to do some animation with it sometime when I’m not playing Critter Cove or Cruelty Squad, or any other game lmao.

Today is #mysterydungeon day! I didn’t make anything proper until literally not even 30 minutes ago, and I am not wanting to just repost the same meme I made, so have some quick art of the Shinx that started it all.

A black and green Shinx, with a written caption of Almost 5 years with a smaller bit of writing in brackets: “mid-life crisis”

A clock is imposed set at six hours zero minutes, and at the bottom is text reads: “It’s a wild ride, this passage of fate”

Here’s another doodle, been meaning to draw something to exemplify my cat behavior :P #furry #furryart

Meridian is standing in a cardboard box, but is greatly surprised by a knock at the door. Causing its hair to stand on end.

044

Meridian’s Art and Rambles @meridiancat.neocities.org · 22/07/2024

Whoops, I’ve been gone longer than I thought. Have something I doodled. #furry #furryart

Meridian, my cat-like fursona, is standing at the beach, wearing swim trunks. It is presenting itself with a shrug and smug smile. It is saying “no beaches?” a play on “no bitches?”
