Today I'm releasing the "1000×1000 collection": a unified place to learn about dynamical structure. 1000 simulated time series (1000 samples each) spanning 133 dynamical processes. Have a play? 🐛 #timeseries #dynamicalsystems #complexity #opendata dynamicsandneuralsystems.github.io/1000x1000/

Formal Properties of Language as Constraints on Neural Dynamics
What must a neural system be capable of to implement language? Current research annotates stimuli with linguistic variables and tests which electrodes, voxels, or language-model layers predict neural ...

Could not agree more with the need for comparative cross species differences to serve as “informative constraints”… “With enough evidence, researchers tend to accept cross-species differences, but they rarely use these differences to refine or revise theory”

Went on a short backpacking trip as I was finishing up my thesis last December. Compiled some of the footage into a YouTube video :) We were at the great sand dunes in Colorado- so much snow! and sand! and wind! ❄️⏳⌛️
