“Twatt Kirk” is also a common phrase in Klingon.
Photo from HMS Tern/ RNAS Twatt with caption “32-foot winged target for towing. Admiralty Type 'S' hangar visible back left, with Twatt Kirk beyond. This was the type of target often towed past the gunnery training range at Yesnaby on Orkney's west coast. The towing cable could be as long as 1000 feet.”

Photo is of said target

I am pretty sure that if I climbed this ladder I’d find a collectible and some supplies.

I used to organise Edinburgh Green News editions, the twice-yearly newsletter Scottish Green volunteers put through letterboxes. Was short of a photo on controlling rents so went out and took this. Only afterwards did I notice the tendency to use Comely Bank Road for press housing stories.

Lovely sail this afternoon round Inchmickery and back to Granton. Lost the wind a few times but it picked up after a few minutes- and we saw puffins.
