Kamala should campaign with Troy Jackson. She won Maine in 2024, and Troy can win this year with only Kamala's voters.

From 2022 to 2024, there were people on the far right and far left who said we could have easy peace with Russia if we were mean to Ukraine and cut aid. Trump did that, and the war is still going on. Will anyone admit they were wrong? ,

This is a partisan resist lib answer, but tech companies messed up being so pro-Trump post him winning in 2024 at best it was 50/50 and as he has gotten more unpopular they have gotten more unpopular.

I think there are two things AI companies can do to make themselves more liked. Show that AI can give people a shorter workweek for the same pay, or give people who live near large data centers an Alaska oil-style check once in a while, a share of economic growth.

Dems need to work on two messaging things. They need to get it in people's heads that Republican presidents are bad for the economy and that crime is lower now than it was in the 80s and 90s. So much nonsense is caused by people who don't believe these things.

It is kind of amazing how strong Spider-Man is as a franchise. The character has had multiple hit movies in three decades now, not even including successful games and t.v. shows.

I am glad they don't have British accents in Nolan's The Odyssey. I don't like how that seems to be the default accent in any fantasy setting.

I see the right complaining about the Supreme Court when they lose, maybe Democrats should play reverse psychology a bit for decades, the court has been more right-wing than left. Having the Supreme Court being an institution no one cares about would be better for them long-term.

The next dem president should ban Axios from the white house and dem leaders should not talk to them now. This willful ngorance and willingness to constantly say a deal is coming for 8 weeks now to pump the markets up deserves punishment.

One thing that's missing from democratic messaging about trump's many crimes is "we told you so." It's not enough to say "this is a horrendously bad thing," you have to establish credibility by saying (& repeating) that you predicted he would do this type of bad thing, which is easy because you did

I hate that line, "This is bad for the country but tremendous content." No, this is horrible content. If you want good content, read, watch a movie, or play a game. Politics and the news should not be our content.

There should be an option to watch a 30-second ad to read an article on a website instead of a paywall for most news sites if they need the money. Most people aren't going to start a brand new subscription to read one article that interests them.

He won a close victory; if 3 percent of the vote was bringing 2019 prices back people, then that's the ballgame. He also said things like grocery prices would outright go down, and 2 dollar a gallon gas. I do think it might have gotten people like uneducated young men to vote for him.

I agree vibes have a role and the economy is not worse than 2008 to 2010. But Trump ran on lowering prices, so them going up at all seems to really piss of lower information voters who honestly thought he would bring 2019 back. That was stupid but they did think it.

Donald Trump seems to be averaging 36-39% approval right now. I think if gas goes above 4:50 dollars per gallon, he might go below 35 percent.

Nova liberals are some of the most anti-Trump people because they loved the pre-Trump version of America and probably moved there to serve it. They always knew he was terrible, and they felt that allowing Trump to win betrayed what they stood for. The maps vote was a chance at revenge.

The dark age of the American city was probably the mid-60s to mid-90s. Since then, crime has mostly gone down, and investment has started returning to city centers instead of malls outside the city.

I think there is a chance Trump would voluntarily leave the presidency in 2027 if Dems win. He would hate an atmosphere of constant rejection and lower polls from him. If Vance just preemptively pardons him so he can avoid prison, I think he might leave by choice.

In 2029, some low-hanging fruit a Democratic president can do include a child care tax credit, end all Trump tariffs, Biden-era Obamacare subsidies, and publicly apologize to Canada and others to help boost tourism. I don't think any of those would be a huge political battle with a Dem Congress.

People talk about packing the court, I think Wisconsin shows maybe there should be a movement to elect the supreme court. Wisconsin used to have a GOP stooge court ok with Gerrymandering, but due to voting people were able to remove them. That would be better nationally.

Middle-aged liberal women who loved Hilary Clinton in 2016 did a better job understanding Trump and the GOP than any other group, leftists, centrists, media pundits, and obviously, Trump supporters themselves. It seems so much punditry has gone into not admitting this fact.

People who don't like Hasan should talk more about his non-Israel comments. Like that, he likes Chairman Mao and is sad that the Soviet Union is gone. With the Israel and Jewish issues, he says that he just cares about the Palestinians to get out of it. Make him talk about other subjects.

I think Yimby's success is a bit like gay marriage's success. In 2008 there were loads of anti-gay marriage dems, it even lost in California, but over time that position ended in the party. I think the same is happening at least non-locally for Nimby dems.

We need to retire the "Nothing ever happens" meme. This decade there was COVID, Ukraine-Russia, October 7th, and now the Iran-US war. People who are using it now seemed to move the goalposts to say nothing ever happens unless there is WW3 or a nuke going off.

Yimbys have two big reasons for success, one they focused on one issue and stuck to it and two when polticians listen to them they are pretty apprecitive and don't constantly move the goalposts and say not enough.
