I can’t believe I’m writing this My friend & med school colleague Shams was just martyred with her entire family She literally sat the biochemistry exam with us TODAY… and tomorrow she won’t be with us for the physio exam.

2/ The campaign sells digital Palestinian Tatreez designs for $5 each, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to support me and my family during these difficult times. A new design is released every month, inspired by authentic Palestinian heritage and handcrafted by Palestinian women.

A Tatreez design - a very intricate form of embroidery, in this case featuring birds as the centrepiece, with symmetrical motifs surrounding it, in pink, burgundy and blue.
