exactlyy, and yeah for some reason they seem to have a completely skewed perception of the female characters which lead them to make this oc to be "cooler" and "better" than the other girls?? like why are they pretending to "fix" the narrative when they don't even understand it in the first place..

yea i saw their bs take on hitomiko and mischaracterisation of canon charas, which show just how surface-level and wrong their understanding of the show is. wouldn't be surprised if they also don't understand a word you're saying and aren't willing to put any brain power into trying to understand.

My new position is that artists who are loud about genAI art theft ought to care just as loudly about data labeling/moderation labor outsourced to countries w/ vulnerable populations GenAI literally could not function or have been built without the hidden work of armies of gig workers paid cents

Any time a creative turns to this tech, they are saying "I do not respect the people who do this thing. I do not value their creative contribution to my vision. I think they are so worthless, they can be replaced by the machine that ate their work." It's not surprising this is seen as hostile.

actually i kinda *do* think using genAI should be such a social faux pas that the user is marked as a pariah and no longer feels welcome in the community. "AI is bad" is no longer an abstract (it never was), my city has been under a boil water advisory for a week because of AI data centers

yes!! i just rewatched the match against The Empire, and in the absence of Endou and Kidou, the team turns to Kazemaru and then HIROTO as replacement captains. never do they even suggest that Gouenji should lead the team. how can he be more assertive than Endou if even his team thinks he's not?

I really hate the lengths people will go to defend musicians using AI for album covers. Like why should I give a damn about your craft if you don't give a damn about mine.
