The front cover of GUNSIGHT - Phase 0, illustrated by a young Haruhiko Mikimoto, in 1979. Gunsight served as the bedrock for understanding lore about 0079's universe and Mobile Suit Gundam and was released during Comiket 13. The text served as the basis for canonizing said lore for Gundam Century, was read actively by Studio II and Sunrise staff, praised by Yoshiyuki Tomino and Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, and has become indefinitely rare to acquire.

Arms & shoulders done. Did have to disassemble a bit first to get the right leverage for getting them on, but that is the model basically assembled once the cement cures. Will stop here for a couple days until I can get the right paints.

Really liked how this one turned out. Was kind of surprised by the discussion surrounding it. I do somewhat see the "betrayed expectations" angle but I really feel like people are becoming more allergic to slightly more complex figurative language used within a story.

The way Anna's queerness is handled in this film is very interesting. Her encounters with various men are shown in detail, but we only even hear of her attraction to women and encounters as a story she tells to her mother in a private space, searching for acceptance.

Her “true feelings” about Luca are “I want to be your lover” and not “I love you.” Also she literally states it’s motivated by urgency not an actual desire to reveal feelings. The most obvious of all time. Also Luca is kind of coming off as ace.
