the people qrp'ing this being snobby about it like "oh no what heartless asshole 🙄" are the reason why posts like these are being made in the first place i can imagine being like "it's not that serious" but can you not bring back the reason why we left twitter that ISN'T elon and his nazi friends?

the discoruse that the OoT remake is getting right now is a big-ass reminder as to why i really fucking hate the way people talk about video games these days and having to associate myself to these dumb mother fuckers makes me not want to play games at all

my fear is that fans aren't going to realize- or simply don't care about- how revolutionary this whole glitch "bring an indie film to theaters" situation is and will squander a great opportunity to give more power to creators, by arguing about keeping glitch indie by sabotaging this

I'm already seeing fans say that they need this to fail otherwise glitch- who successsfully brought netflix to heel with zero creative capitulation on glitch's part- will no longer be indie, and then they'll no longer "obey" the fans who made them but won't pay $10 to see 2 hours of animation

or worse yet is insisting that glitch is sabotaging themselves by doing this, and that they need to boycott or "just won't watch it" or whatever I don't know, man, the arguments I'm seeing... some of these fans kinda suck. There, I'll say it
