So I have 2 Snack Kids' costumes for Halloween, A is going to be Ghostface (The Scream movie guy) and the other, Chucky. I spent $25 on the gently used costumes on Vibted to get these. Not sure if the toddler needs a costume yet, her dad seems to want to provide that stuff..not stepping on toes

She needs to be able to eat food that is safe for her and also halal. She will choose NOT to eat if there isn't enough. When I first met her, she would eat corn for dinner. She really needs community! The people who live in her building are in similar positions, they can't help that much~

Me too but I am just so sad for our new neighbors, that kid may not be allowed to play outside for a while. Also we are literally two blocks from an elementary w/pre school. All the people were out walking their dogs and w/strollers bc it was just starting to be rush hour

There were kids that age home invading and burglarizing and they tried to sexually assault somebody recentkly a few miles away What I have come to learn is the some of the young kids committing crimes have really, really troubled families and the gov just ignores this and locks them up

I am going to try to think of a way to make them feel more welcome but this was a car chase/shooting scenario like the movies where two vehicles were shooting at each other. It was random and unpredictable like city violence often is We have had really young kids involved in violence- ages 13, 12

It was a terrifying thing. Not just the gunshots but when cops pound on your door like that....going out back and letting them search our yard ugh. Just super grateful no one was hurt
