Wanted to do another Sonic character tier list. This was fun 😌 In no particular order but I think the first 3 are accurate.

This is so funny, kinda stupid, but honestly I'm here for it. 😂

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

I know this probably won't happen, but I see a fighting area, I pray for Honey the Cat. If my girl makes her debut in this comic I will scream and cry with joy.

I highly encourage fans to take whatever frustration they have, be it a characters portrayal in the comics, lack thereof in the games and make their own story, comic, animation, edit whatever. That's what we're here for. That's what makes this fandom great 😌💜

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

If there's one thing I adore about being a Sonic fan is just how creative the fandom is. Despite the topic and generation we're all equally annoyed and frustrated by one game, character, situation lacking potential but we have the freedom to say "fuck it I'll do it myself".

Hate that we gotta wait a year for this 😭😭😭😭

I wish I could do linework like you. I've always loved how your inking looks but fr it's my least favourite part of the process 😆💜

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

This has to be one of my favourite covers for this issue! I love how you made Blackwood look like a Cryptid 😂💜

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Ngl it feels like it the reaction to the recent arc was very pathetic from a group of adults. 😭

130

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Ik they have limited issues to set up before issue 100 but the story really does feel like everything happened within the span of 30 mins/1 hr.

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I think my only real critique with the current IDW Sonic issues is the pacing. The story is good but I would've loved to see so many of the scenes that have been explained away like Silver and Blaze's conversation, how they got there, more of Blackwood and Blaze etc etc

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I love how one character has sparked so much inspiration to draw my ocs for the sole purpose of trying to kill him. 🤭

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I'm making a figure of this guy. I love him so much he's joining the villain pile. 💜💜💜💜

Not sure if this is a spoiler or anything, but does he actually have powers or is it all from the gloves? 👀

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I've been deciding what to decorate my account with for Halloween and ngl the recent IDW Sonic issues got me on the Sonic train 😂

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I like that Blackwood clearly developed an interest in Blaze because she's Royalty. Like it's clear the whole time he has no interest in them as people, only power and title. Also the fact that he just assumed she'd be his Queen bc she's also Nobility. Love it!

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I've really enjoyed the latest issues from IDW Sonic. I love Blackwood, Dapple, whoever designed them did an incredible job and so far the story is great! 💜💜💜

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Blackwood is a reference to something and I can't figure out what it's bothering me...

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

So excited for issue #90. I'm really loving this Blackwood arc so much!!

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Idk if my timeline is broken but I wish there was more of a discussion here. Whether it be MLP, Sonic, the IDW comics or other works of fiction, I just feel like there's more of that on Shitter and I hate it there 😭

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Designed some new Sonic characters! One thing I love is naming them according to the franchises naming conventions. I've also decided to start a new MLP art series to post more regularly. 🥰

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Wtf did you do this?!?! Oh my god I thought this was from an actual show you're so talented!!!

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I'm definitely the biggest Sonic 06 glazer but genuinely I stand by the opinion that it had the best characterisation, artstyle and gameplay of any Sonic game. If it wasn't so glitchy and buggy it would be one of the best Sonic games. They need to bring back it's gameplay style.

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Obviously a Blaze game would be like a Sonic platformer but IN the Sol Dimension, Amy already has a Visual Novel so idk imagine that but card game esk fighting mechanics or turn based. Idk but the possibilities are endless.

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I stg Sega is sitting on a gold mine if they locked in with the Sonic Franchise. So many different characters with different genres and stories to explore imagine an Rouge game but hitman/tomb raider, Chaotixs detective game, Tails puzzle game, Shadow or Knuckles beat em up etc.

100

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I would honestly love another 06 style game (fixed and finished ofc) where Sonic, Shadow and Silver have to work together. I love their dynamic and the different ways they go about getting the same thing done. I feel like that would be fun.

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I need to binge read the IDW comics. I've been behind for too long now.

Ngl this current IDW Sonic arc has already given me some fun art ideas 🤭 ANOTHER ONE ON THE LIST
