Wanted to do another Sonic character tier list. This was fun 😌 In no particular order but I think the first 3 are accurate.

I know this probably won't happen, but I see a fighting area, I pray for Honey the Cat. If my girl makes her debut in this comic I will scream and cry with joy.

If there's one thing I adore about being a Sonic fan is just how creative the fandom is. Despite the topic and generation we're all equally annoyed and frustrated by one game, character, situation lacking potential but we have the freedom to say "fuck it I'll do it myself".

Hate that we gotta wait a year for this 😭😭😭😭

I think my only real critique with the current IDW Sonic issues is the pacing. The story is good but I would've loved to see so many of the scenes that have been explained away like Silver and Blaze's conversation, how they got there, more of Blackwood and Blaze etc etc

I love how one character has sparked so much inspiration to draw my ocs for the sole purpose of trying to kill him. 🤭

I'm making a figure of this guy. I love him so much he's joining the villain pile. 💜💜💜💜

I've been deciding what to decorate my account with for Halloween and ngl the recent IDW Sonic issues got me on the Sonic train 😂

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I like that Blackwood clearly developed an interest in Blaze because she's Royalty. Like it's clear the whole time he has no interest in them as people, only power and title. Also the fact that he just assumed she'd be his Queen bc she's also Nobility. Love it!

I've really enjoyed the latest issues from IDW Sonic. I love Blackwood, Dapple, whoever designed them did an incredible job and so far the story is great! 💜💜💜

Blackwood is a reference to something and I can't figure out what it's bothering me...

Idk if my timeline is broken but I wish there was more of a discussion here. Whether it be MLP, Sonic, the IDW comics or other works of fiction, I just feel like there's more of that on Shitter and I hate it there 😭

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Designed some new Sonic characters! One thing I love is naming them according to the franchises naming conventions. I've also decided to start a new MLP art series to post more regularly. 🥰

I'm definitely the biggest Sonic 06 glazer but genuinely I stand by the opinion that it had the best characterisation, artstyle and gameplay of any Sonic game. If it wasn't so glitchy and buggy it would be one of the best Sonic games. They need to bring back it's gameplay style.

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I stg Sega is sitting on a gold mine if they locked in with the Sonic Franchise. So many different characters with different genres and stories to explore imagine an Rouge game but hitman/tomb raider, Chaotixs detective game, Tails puzzle game, Shadow or Knuckles beat em up etc.

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I would honestly love another 06 style game (fixed and finished ofc) where Sonic, Shadow and Silver have to work together. I love their dynamic and the different ways they go about getting the same thing done. I feel like that would be fun.

I need to binge read the IDW comics. I've been behind for too long now.

I took a break from drawing just to spend time doing nothing and relax. Now I'm planning a new series and working on my Pony OCs (Also drawing some cool ocs I've wanted to do for a while 🥰)

The one thing I dislike about this app is the second you move away from your curated feed the timeline is just filled with bullshit American politics I have absolutely no interest in seeing or weird men grabbing their fully exposed dicks. I have no idea how to get rid of these it's so gross. 😭

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I'm glad I finally have the opportunity to draw random shit! It's been nice to finish all major projects so I can focus on actually doing shit for myself and indulging in oc and fandom art. 😌💜

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Idk why I made my pony character wear braids. I fucking hate drawing them so I made my own brush for it 😂

I really wish Mighty and Ray would be brought back to join the Chaotix. I know they sort of like the whole groups of 3 thing but yeah. Or at least the two of them form a group with Honey!😅

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

This is extremely random but one of the things I love are the Creepypasta characters, but one thing that irks me about modern fans of characters like Jeff is a lot of them seem to try and justify the whole "the killer" part. Or change it to "he only kills bad people". Like no. These guys are evil 😅

I'm considering trying a run at doing commissions. I really just wanna draw people's ocs but I also need some cash. 😅 Maybe I'll set up something.

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

I don't hate it, but I can't say I love it either. I do adore the artstyle, they're so cute! But I am worried this is all G6 would have to offer. I would much prefer a completely new cast than just a reboot of the G4 Mane 6. I hope it's just a web series and not fully Gen 6.

WELL!!! it looks like the horse is out of the stable! I hooficially had the privelege of collaborating with the team at Hasbro to help bring the next chapter of My Little Pony to life 😊

Not too long until we get official news about MLP G6. Ngl, if the leaks are real, I don't mind their being a Core 4. Despite Rarity and AJ being my favourite G4 Mane 6, I don't mind them not being there. This isn't G4, it's G6. I'd rather a full change or at least something.

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

I don't think I'm gunna have the time to do more ArtFight attacks this year, which is a shame but at least I can keep all the cool characters I found bookmarked for next year! It was still fun regardless but hey responsibilities as an adult take priority. 😅

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

I'm really excited to see what the plan is for MLP G6, but at the same time I'm a bit nervous. I do wish the leaks are fake though. Personally I'd prefer if they are going with a Core 4 it isn't the exact same characters from G4s Mane 6 but other existing ponies brought back.

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

Ever since G5 ended I've been cooking up an entire AU of my ideaof a Gen 6. I'll show it soon. 🤭

000

🎃🖤💀 MelancholyWake 💀🖤🎃 @melodywake.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

When looking up the toys/figures for each generation it's crazy how much G5 was neglected. The main series toys only got a total of 129 main line figures compared to G4s 1034 a d G3s 828. Thats 129 of mostly the Mane 5. No wonder that shit got cancelled. 😮‍💨

I'm both so excited and mildly concerned about this. Given what's been happening with Hasbro recently it's not left me with a lot of hope. But hey I've loved this franchise for years, since G1. I really hope G6 is brilliant. 😌💜
