i made a guide on how to write, draw, and print a doujinshi/fanzine/whatever you want to call it. this is a crash course on literally everything i know about making doujinshi. it's over 40 pages long. i hope you like it. docs.google.com/document/d/1...

In honour of Hayao Miyazaki I've implemented the biggest update to the GenAI mute/block list in a few months. Clear your feed. Let me know of any missed accounts and any false positive I might have swept up. I'm not perfect and happy to review mistakes. bsky.app/profile/eidy...

As per Katherine's op, it's statistically inescapable that we're being squeezed for all we're worth. A small fraction of artists can eke out a living but the situation is increasingly unsustainable for the majority and i think requires organization. WOTC good start imo bsky.app/profile/kath...

Im not a fatalist that thinks artists are abt to go extinct, but i think we are on a VERY clear downward trend line of financial precarity. If we don't organize in the near future, future generations of artists are going to be rightfully pissed with us

ya i agree. i've said this before but organizing wizards of the coast artists would be a great starting point

It would be fantastic if I would stop procrastinating on things I actually enjoy. I hate ADHD, man.

Bringing this back because this has been my life for the last week:

Invincible meme.

“How do I make my art look the same on all devices?”

“That’s the neat part, you don’t”

Here are 543 images (1.5GB) of items at the Philadelphia Museum of Art arms and armor exhibit You're free to use them for anything, even commercially. I tried to focus on details not usually represented in available reference material drive.google.com/file/d/1NRzg... Here's a small sampling:

A closeup view of an ornate cuirass and tasset, showing heart-shaped designs along the edges of the metal panels.

An extremely ornate ceremonial halberd head showing etched and blackened designs with various plants, mythical creatures, and heraldic designs.

A closeup of the shoulder intersection of the cuirass, pauldron, and bevor of a piece of 1500s field armor. Some ornate etching of the crucifixion is visible in the lower right corner on the cuirass.

às vezes nem é sobre likes ou comentários e nem mesmo sobre ter um monte de seguidores. às vezes anos desenhando compensam só de ver um mutual falando que quer engravidar seu OC. às vezes isso é o bastante pra fazer um artista feliz...

UGH nightcrawler and wolverine are CONSTANTLY hugging each other?? god they are so gay. good for them #xmen

a drawing of nightcrawler hugging wolverine from behind, laying his chin on logan's shoulder lovingly while embracing his body with his tail as well. they both look happy and peaceful, smiling with closed eyes just cherishing the moment, and wolverine gently holds one of kurt's arms. they are sitting on the ground, wearing casual clothes.
there's text around the image in the same format as the original quoted art, in which "tall" points to nightcrawler and "short" to wolverine. below them it reads "both are very touch starved".

i dont mean this in an overly positive millennial excessive validation way i mean this in a "the world is trying to beat you down and you have the right to use a powerful word" way. just take it bc it's literally yours
