I was feeling really old but last week I went to my son's school for a reading event and there was a 12yo with black nail polish, boots and a bauhaus t-shirt and I thought... We'll be fine. The kids are actually alright.

@helenfernanda tem só algumas teclas coloridas, é mais pelo switch e pelo formato. Eu já uso um moonlander e amo várias coisas nele, mas sinto que minhas mãos são meio pequenas pra ele. Queria testar novos switches e a ergonomia do Alice. Só que não abro mão do QMK (na verdade, o que eu comprei […]

Trying my (free) hand at a Caesar Zeppeli, no pattern just vibes 😁 Based off of the ideas in amigurumisdavit.com.br/produto/eboo…

Wip amigurumi, next to my tablet showing a picture of Caesar Zeppeli from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The head, hair legs and eyes are done. The character is a blonde man wearing a gray jumpsuit, blue jacket and a purple/orange bandana. He's holding bubbles in his right hand (that's his power)

Update! Got a finer brush and although it's not perfect I'm really happy with them! (bottom pair is the new ones that I'll be using on the doll)

Two pairs of glass beads painted as amigurumi eyes. Top pair is a bit rough, bottom pair has finer detail. Eyes are blue/green with black/white details

First time using glass for the eyes, I love the idea! My execution was not so great though, tomorrow I'll try again with a finer brush. Black and white are nail polish, blue and teal are posca markers.

Instructions for an amigurumi head with blue/green eyes made of glass beads, and my attempt at painting the glass beads to look like the image. My lines are a bit sloppy mostly because I didn't have a fine brush

I don't own a car. I take public transit everywhere, and I do think personal vehicle use has real environmental costs. But I don't think driving is inherently unethical. I live in Seoul, and the city makes transit easy for me. That's not a virtue. It's a condition I happen to benefit from. Some […]

PSA for today : just because you love and respect someone, doesn't mean they're always right. If they're really that great, they should be able to handle you pushing back on stuff you disagree with.
