Trying my (free) hand at a Caesar Zeppeli, no pattern just vibes 😁 Based off of the ideas in amigurumisdavit.com.br/produto/eboo…

Wip amigurumi, next to my tablet showing a picture of Caesar Zeppeli from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The head, hair legs and eyes are done. The character is a blonde man wearing a gray jumpsuit, blue jacket and a purple/orange bandana. He's holding bubbles in his right hand (that's his power)

Couple of tiny details still to do but overall I'm very happy with the result! #crochet #fiberarts #jjba #jojo

Update! Got a finer brush and although it's not perfect I'm really happy with them! (bottom pair is the new ones that I'll be using on the doll)

Two pairs of glass beads painted as amigurumi eyes. Top pair is a bit rough, bottom pair has finer detail. Eyes are blue/green with black/white details

First time using glass for the eyes, I love the idea! My execution was not so great though, tomorrow I'll try again with a finer brush. Black and white are nail polish, blue and teal are posca markers.

Instructions for an amigurumi head with blue/green eyes made of glass beads, and my attempt at painting the glass beads to look like the image. My lines are a bit sloppy mostly because I didn't have a fine brush

Why does discord hate arch users This keeps blocking me while there is a mandatory client update and it hasn't landed in AUR yet

Update dialog from discord on linux, offering updated packaged for Ubuntu (deb file) or "Linux" (tar.gz file), when I have it installed via the system package manager.

I unfortunately don't have that many opportunities to try some art so I'm happy with my little attempt here 😁 it was a lot of fun

A wide plate/saucer and a tea cup. Both are hand painted with a pattern of blue, red, orange and teal spirals of different sizes, interspersed with black dots with smaller white dots in the center. The spirals are quite irregular.

Me (white woman with green hair, glasses, a nose ring) smiling to the camera while wearing a plastic apron and holding the saucer while I was still painting it. The painting materials (brush, palette, water) are in front ot me in a table.

Been extremely busy and taking every occasion to finish Anathem, by Neal Stephenson. Conquered the 1000 pages just now. I loved it, although I see this is a very polarizing book 😁

Anathem, by Neal Stephenson. It's a 1000 page book with a cover showing a monastic figure coming out of a portal that looks like a monastery gate. In the background my 2 cats are sleeping.
