I am appalled by my NH Senators' decision to vote alongside the GOP. I have been sending them emails left and right (I get too anxious on calls), and apparently, it has meant nothing to them. Fine. I just sent them this email. They can expect me to no longer vote for them when their time comes.

An email I wrote to my NH Senators that read:

You have got to be kidding me. Did you just vote alongside the GOP in support of Cloture and to move forward with a vote on their horrendous spending bill, a bill that is going to take away all our social programs and basically rob us of our hard-earned Social Security? Did you just side with fascists?

I get not wanting a government shutdown. But we are in the fight of our lives right now as this administration robs us of our constitutional rights. Voting alongside them shows them that you are weak and can be bullied into doing what they want. We need fighters willing to oppose them at every step, not someone who thinks we are still working in a “bipartisan” mindset.

At this point, it doesn’t even matter if you vote “No” on the spending bill. You have just shown your true face, which is the face of a coward. I will remember this when your time as senator comes back up for a vote because that is something you will no longer get from me again.

Today, I emailed my Senators and Reps. I don't do well on phone calls. I get nervous about wanting to say the right thing. However, writing has always been a strong suit of mine. The image is what I wrote. Not perfect, but I think it gets my message across.

A letter to my senator and rep. It reads:

Subject: Fight for our Democracy

I need you to step up and fight for our democracy. Elon is taking over our country through our president; if you wait to do something, it'll be too late. You've got to do something NOW. Voting yes at these confirmation hearings allows more of his cronies to get into power. You should stop that AT ALL COSTS.

This is NOT a typical government anymore. Trying to work through the divide and trying to work with the GOP are no longer options. The whole Bi-partisan mindset needs to go away. They want to strip women of their rights, want to eliminate brown immigrants (cause white ones are okay), want to bully trans people back into the closet, and want to remove any thoughts of diversity. This is UNACCEPTABLE.

This doesn't even cover what Elon is doing with the treasury right now. He has access to all of our SSNs, bank accounts, and financial data. He and the six kids he has working for him can use this data to hurt all American citizens. This should outrage you. You should be fighting back.

Human lives have already been lost through the tragic plane crashes that have been happening over the last few days, all because of their closed-mindedness in removing all credibility from the FAA. More lives will be lost with his policy changes to disease prevention, food administration, international affairs, tariffs, and more. You should be fighting this.

I am a Puerto Rican woman who is scared. I am scared of being picked up by ICE even though I am a citizen (cause that has already happened). I am scared of waking up and finding my bank accounts emptied. I am scared of losing my home, my husband (who is white), my livelihood, and my life. And I don't feel like my government cares. I don't feel like you and the rest of the Democrats care. Cause NO ONE is fighting against this shit. There are tons of words being thrown out there, but no actions behind those words.

Show me you care. DO SOMETHING!
