Not just remote/regional Australia, aged care facilities everywhere are largely staffed (from RN’s to PCA’s) by immigrants. It’s the absolute hardest job going round and we’d be utterly stuffed without them.

The woeful state of our housing market can be fixed by having the guts to scrap the CGT and negative gearing. It would stop the growing chasm of wealth and income inequality and create generational change for the better. Such a shame Labor no longer care about being Leaders for the working class.

Agree. He’s been disappointing, but attempts by the now far right parties of Australia - the LNP, Pauline Hanson etc, to blame the PM are gross (and entirely expected). Also of note right now is how much these same parties have pushed to weaken gun laws for years while cozying up to the gun lobby.

Had a number of patients while I worked in a stroke unit who‘d had strokes after a masseuse or chiropractor worked on their neck. The lead Neurologist insisted DO NOT let anyone manipulate or do deep pressure work on your neck! Your vertebral arteries can get occluded or tear & you can stroke out
