In 2024 so many helped me get my #X-Files script signed by Steven Williams for the next ScullyCoffee4NF raffle. Multiple emails, never heard back but it cane + went www.nfnetwork.org/pages-events... I'm sorry for wasting my multiple con helper's time trying to do something good with this script.

Blue draft script of The X-Files season 4 premiere Herrenvolk signed by Steven Williams at Crossroads UK 2024. It was intended as a raffle prize for 2025 ScullyCoffee4NF but after running it solo for multiple years the coordinator took 2025 off. I kept checking for 2026, emails sent, heard nothing and apparently the fundraiser happened. This script chased Williams from a canceled booking at a Creation con in California to the UK via Jus in Bello con in Rome and was returned to me at SPN NJ 2024.

If there are any fundraisers with raffle prizes I could donate this to please let me know, thank you.

Kyle Alex Brett: Someone reminded me that a few years ago, I purchased a bunch of screenplays of classic black movies from the 90s and put them in a free, Google drive.

Putting it on Threads now.

It includes screenplays for films like:
House Party, Boyz N The Hood, New Jack City, Belly, Soul Food, Love Jones, Boomerang, Blankman, Crooklyn, Friday, Devil in a Blue Dress, Bad Boys, Waiting to Exhale, Set It Off, BAPs and more.

Any fans live near Laramie, Wyoming? The University of Wyoming has a public copy of the first draft screenplay of 'The Thing'

It's available to read in Box 60 of the Phil Gersh papers at the American Heritage Center at the University of Wyoming.

Currently only two later drafts are publicly available.

The first draft of The Thing screenplay is now on the internet archive!

Credit to u/RunDNA for pointing out that not only was the first draft not available anywhere on the internet, but also where it was available to check out, allowing me to scan it.

This is the beauty of the internet. Someone in Australia notices that a screenplay is in a library on the other side of the world in Wyoming and then in less than 19 hours someone else scans it and posts it online.

I was legit shocked at how fast it happened.

There's lots of scenes and dialogue in there that fans have never seen before.

A few years ago you retweeted an article about folks in Philly who abolished millions in medical debt in their community and that retweet was why our script collecting group picked RIP/Undue, our raffles raised $35,730 which abolished $5.35 million in medical debt for 4,299 people.

First fundraiser for RIP Medical Debt raised $10,213 which abolished $1,180,348 in medical debt for 621 people.

Second campaign for Undue Medical Debt, raised $25,644 which abolished $4,174,244.70 in medical debt for 3,678 people. Thank you Eric Kripke for donating scripts, the folks from Gotham Knights for donating scripts and costume sketches and fabric swatches, Robbie Thompson for The Winchesters scripts, and all the Supernatural fans who donated prizes so we could pull off this fundraiser raffle.

Supernatural et. al. 🤝 The Toxic Avenger

A bunch of folks in the Supernatural fandom did a script raffle and raised $10,086.10 for RIP Medical Debt which abolished $1,180,348.38 in medical debt for 621 people living in five states.

After doing fundraising raffles for The Trevor Project, World Central Kitchen, and RIP Medical Debt we had nothing left, we thought we were done...Mr. Eric Kripke himself caught wind of what we were up to and said next time he'd get us some good ones...so we did another raffle with the scripts donated by Kripke and prizes donated by the creatives behind Gotham Knights, The Winchesters and fandom.

We raised $25,644.30 for Undue Medical Debt which abolished $4,174,244.70 in debt for 3,678 people living in 37 states, Armed Forces Pacific, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
