All these young people that are downtown for church or something need to stop trying to meet Jesus so soon. Slow down. I’m sure the guy will forgive you for being late to worship. Definitely look if you’re walking out between two cars out into the middle of a street.

Did you all know that you can get movies streamed with your @kclibrary.bsky.social library card through kanopy? I found it in the Libby app. If you don’t live in the KC metro, it may be available at a library near you! There are other extras too. I haven’t checked them out yet.

Just had coffee and a snack from a work-sponsored coffee cart. I’m sad I missed the days of people selling sandwiches from a cart in cubicle spaces. Snacks are better when delivered from carts.

I was talking to my cousin’s teenager yesterday, and there was a lull in the conversation. She looked at me and matter-of-factly said “I’m going to go now.” and walked away. I love it. I want us all to be able to say “I’m going to go now“ and walk away without feeling weird.

I have a sunburn on my right arm from being near a door. I was in a garage the entire time. A staircase was between me and a standard sized door to the backyard. Yet here I am with one sunburned arm. 🙃 WHITE

I’m going to a family reunion today at a tiny farmhouse with one bathroom. I have a very large family. Normally, it’s a potluck situation, but this year one of my aunts& uncles have $200 in Casey’s rewards, so we are having pizza. 😂 I love it.

The image is of a four panel comic.
The first panel shows Sarah, the protagonist, holding a red ball labeled "A SILLY MEME".
The second panel shows Sarah taking the ball and going through a door labeled "GROUP CHAT".
The third panel shows a group of women sitting together and consoling one woman in the center. The woman in the center is saying "...And that's how it happened. It's been the worst day of my life."
The fourth panel shows Sarah standing in the doorway behind them awkwardly holding the red ball.

I’ve decided to start a little geography/history project for myself. I’m terrible at geography, but I like history so I will learn them together. 👯‍♀️ I’m telling the internet so I don’t forget. Feel free to make recommendations.

I’ve decided there is a new breakfast category called “gremlin breakfast“ It may come with a requirement that you grew up in an ingredient only household. This is when you have 99% healthy food in your house and you let your cravings dictate your meals instead of a meal plan.

Please validate my childhood memory. In either Bannister or Oak Park Mall there was a Hickory Farms store that had a rotisserie or warmer with meat slices in it served on a stick. In my memory they were huge. They were giant glistening sausage lollipops (sausage slice). At 4 yo, mall = sausage 🍭

I looked up the Crown Center parking company who charged me $8 for 16 minutes even though I scanned the validation QR code. The internet is riddled with complaints about Metropolis. Can’t wait to join the class action lawsuit. I did finally get a refund because I said the magic word, “dispute”.

I didn’t have anyone this morning to ask if my new dress was see-through. I did some side squats and pliés in the mirror, but it’s just not the same as asking a person. It was fun at least!

I’ve decided it’s time for a few new pieces of clothing and I saw an app I’ve never heard of, ELLOQUI. Do they hate chubby people specifically or do they hate everyone? Immediately deleting the app
A sleeveless sweater dress with ruffles below the hip that have odd spacing. Fringe at the end for an extra sprinkle of terrible

I don’t believe the dress has the waist. The model gave it a waist.Model wearing black rounded wide leg cropped pants with tall boots and a yellow plaid wool(?) jacket with sleeves that look too long.

She is staring at someone out of frame, possibly whoever made her wear this outfit. Model is leaning on a paddock fence holding a carrot for a horse that may or may not be AI.

I am 5’4”. This bad bitch thankfully built her web at 5’5” because I went through the door and had no idea she was there until I was back inside. She’s big, like an inch and a half. That is her sliding door between the hours of 6pm and 8am. I will go around if needed.

I need a dark room to disassociate in. I need 5 minutes of facing the corner like the Blair Witch Project guy. That will fix me. I used to love to stand in the research building dark room. A little peace while my southern blot images were being developed.

My cat recently became immediately obsessed with a rubber mallet that I bought from Savers. She’s not alone?? I found two Reddit stories of cats being obsessed with rubber mallets. If you own a gently used rubber mallet, set by your cat and report back. You might not get the mallet back. 🫤

Tonight my youngest yelled to me “THE TV WON’T PAUSE!” It was antenna TV. I forgot to mention there is no pause, rewind, or I’ll finish this later. What’s funny is that they wanted to pause it so they could put in their new DVD from the thrift store. We are living in 1998 over here.
