there is no such thing as "age verification." All "age verification" is actually "identity verification." You can coat it in glitter and "privacy-preserving" wrapping paper. But in the end, mandating age verification means mandating surveillance be built into software and hardware. Period.

Trans people are banned from everything and can barely name their oppressors lest they are monstered by the media and in parliament. Never mind the threat of jail for not disclosing being trans before a sexual encounter or even for saying some shit. It's surreal being trans in the UK right now.

I think the pressure of people on social media to force artists to be perfect has really driven the fun of drawing out of me, every time I try to sit down and draw something out of enjoyment I just start feeling stressed because if I’m not constantly improving I feel like I’m failing at art.

Sometimes I just want to leave the UK, but I know that if I do I’ll leave so many wonderful people and animals behind, ones that I have only befriended within the last 3 or 4 years, and I realize I can’t give up just because our current government is failing, not now anyway. Vote Green.
