Today I learned: The paper “Classes: An Abstract Data Type Facility for the C Language” (1981) by Bjarne Stroustrup used an unsafe example 😂 #softwareDevelopment #cpp

A code example with a class named "unsafe" and a derived class named "safe". The unsafe class assumes a responsible user whereas the safe class does not.

Just a friendy reminder how successful cross-technology efforts to implement standards can be: Interop 2025 (incl. CSS scopes, <details>, etc) finished with scores ≥97 for all web browsers. #goodNews #collaboration #webdev
