My first first-author PhD paper is now out in Nature Communications! We present high-resolution cryo-EM structures of the naked mole-rat 80S ribosome, revealing how the unusual split in the 28S rRNA is stabilized while preserving a canonical ribosome architecture. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
